Does Zeke Pike have any help?
#1
Top recruit in the state a lot of lopsided scores not in dixies favor what's up with that does the kid have any help I am assuming he is the "real deal"

He is an Elite 11 quarterback, so I'm assuming not. I hear alot of people say, "this guy is a D1 recruit already!" and I'm like, Zeke Pike is an SEC signed Division 1, Elite 11 quarterback, and his team has won 2 games. Not a good measuring stick.

Hope he excels at Auburn and becomes an NFL player like his daddy did for the Bills. Only time will tell.

Maybe I am wrong, but I dont see him playing a snap at QB at Auburn. Alot has to do with speed, he is big and runs hard and has a strong arm but he does have players around him. He struggles escaping the pocket and when he does he makes big plays but not consistent. I wish him the best but he has talent around him.

Any other d1 talent around him ?

How many schools in KY have just multiple D1 talent around them, they are getting beat by teams that have good high school football players and not "D1" talent.

He had a couple of decent players around him, but injuries have pretty much left him to do it himself, and no way he's that good. I don't know what to say about his future college prospects, but his high school prospects include an early playoff exit. I know it's a dead horse that's been beaten to a puddle, but I blame the coaching staff for running the program into the mud. Long past time for a change at Dixie.:flush:

Look at the scores of the games. Dixie hasn't stopped anyone on defense all season.

Correct. And while Pike has some good players surrounding him on O, they are primarily at the "skilled" positions and are/have been banged up with injuries most of the season. Dixie's O line play this year also isn't helping Pike at all. Put a poor defense, banged up "skilled" O players and a not very good O line all together, and you get very few wins regardless of how good Pike is as a QB. Personally I think he has the talent and size to be a very good D-1 player.

he does have some talent around him, but he's constantly under pressure so there isn't enough time for those skill guys to get open. i also don't think auburn will make him a QB, but maybe turn him into a tight end or LB

Dixies defense has struggled all year but I have seen Pike play twice this year and I have come away less then impressed. I wish him the best but he has a long way to go to be a SEC QB..Also in my opinion Dixie is poorly coached and it would benefit their program if a change was made.

Anybody have the stat line on Pike this season? I've looked on KHSAA and MaxPreps and cannot find his stats anywhere.

With that being said....I don't see him playing a down @ QB for Auburn.

I don't think anyone has said there is a single D1 talent on the team - that includes Pike!
