(3)Alabama 38 (12)Florida 10

Its a free country so your free to argue and debate, but from what Ive seen the past two weeks, there is no way that LSU OR Oklahoma is better than Alabama. Yes, I am biased, but I have no doubt that my beloved Alabama Crimson Tide will be playing for (and winning) the national championship in January. This game wasnt close. Just a total beatdown in The Dump. If you dont think the Tide is the best team in the country, Ill bet the Florida Gators would disagree with you.

Roll Tide.

Not a big Bama fan, but yes, they are pretty darn impressive.

But I love anybody who can embarrass Florida.

Impressive win. Brantley going down with that leg injury hurt the Gators chance of making a come back. The Tide beat a pretty good FL team at the Swamp, I have no doubt after watching the game that Bama is the best team in the country.

Nov 5th will let us know for sure who the best team is.

Cant wait for the LSU VS Bama showdown.

Agreed, badass sig Wildcatk23!
I think Alabama is just a hair better than LSU. Going to be a low scoring, but one hell of a game when they meet. Something like 13-9 final score.

lol Wildcat..

Anyway, I predicted Bama with the win, but closer, and I think it would've been had Brantley not been hurt.

I think Bama is the second best team in the country...and not behind, LSU, behind Wisconsin. Those who disagree can say what you want about who they play or whatever they come up with, but to me, it's like this.

-Both teams have great offensive lines, although Wisconsin has the edge
-Wisconsin clearly and undoubtedly has the edge at quarterback in Wilson. The guy is awesome.
-Both teams have two GREAT backs, and both have a pretty damn good #3 too. Wisconsin's backs have been running like this for longer, but I'm going to call it a tie.
-Bama has good receivers, but not as good as Wisconsin's. That's just fact.
-Wisconsin has a great defense, but Bama has an epic defense, and they win this point. Again, that's just fact.

So, in my opinion, it's 3 to 1 in favor of Wisconsin, with a tie when it comes to their backs. All 4 are just amazing. And I would almost give Wisconsin the edge in that because both James White and Montee Ball can put 150-200 yards on ANYbody on any given Saturday. Trent Richardson can and does do that every week too, but Eddie Lacy isn't equal to Wisconsin's backs, but he still is beast. I think they should use him more often in fact.

Also, both of these teams are two of my favorites. Wisconsin is #3 on my favorite list, Bama is #2, besides when we play them of course. I would love NOTHING more than to see a Wisconsin-Bama National Championship.

Can you imagine the clash of the epic defenses and epic backfields? Gah, I hope it happens.

I agree with your opinion about Wilson and the offensive line. But I don't believe Wisconsin will beat a LSU or Alabama team because those two teams are used to playing tough SEC teams and defenses week in and week out. That's what worries me about Wisconsin.

So if UK is the barometer of what LSU and Florida, considering Florida handled UK easier than LSU and Bama's dismantling of the Gators. I say Bama is much better than LSU!

I honestly just don't think that matters with this team. People got on them about beating a decent Oregon St. team and three other crappy teams by 40 each time, and then they go out and completely dominate, just destroy Nebraska, the #8 team in the country, with one of the best defenses and rushing attacks in the NCAA as well.

I think Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, Illinois, Iowa and Penn State? That's not far from Alabama, LSU, Florida, Auburn, South Carolina and Georgia. Not fat at all, not this year.

The SEC has two for real teams. Alabama and LSU, and I believe Bama is better, on both sides of the ball at almost every position. The Big Ten has two real teams this year, Wisconsin and Nebraska, and maybe even MSU, and Wisconsin has proven they're better than Nebraska, a great team, and we don't even have to watch a game to find out who is better in a Wisconsin-MSU matchup.

Like I said, I'm drooling for a Bama-Wisconsin National Championship. I REALLY, really don't want to see Oklahoma in it, and Stanford is not at the same level as Bama, LSU, Wisconsin and Oklahoma. I hope Oklahoma gets beaten by Ok St., and I think they will, and hopefully they'll find a way to play Stanford in a BCS bowl. LSU can play whoever, I don't really care because I just do not think they're that great. They're a great team, but really don't have many great playmakers. And in close games, against teams of equal or better talent, those playmakers are who win games for you.

i was close on my prediction on the other thred i said 35-17 bama. I cant wait till the bama lsu game! that will be the national title game itself. its a shame they are 1 and 2 in the nation and someone has to lose. =/

We can talk Wisconsin all day long.
They will get there ass beat off come bowl time against Bama or LSU.
Im just not a believer in the rest of the country at all after what the SEC has done over the past few years.
Its almost like a given just like nascar has been with the johnson guy.
It was TCU 3 years ago
Boise last year
And wisconsin this year.
I dont believe in something that aint real, and the rest of the county compared to the sec just isnt real
#18
Its not like anyone outside of the sec has won a chamopionship in 6 years
#20
Didn't u say Oregon was gonna beat Auburn last year?
#21
No. When the game come I predicted Auburn. Before the season started though I said the SEC wouldn't win it I think. Nobody expected Auburn and Cam Newton to do what they did.
#22
6 in a row
#24
^
Im predicting the future but i was wrong i should have said 17 in a row

Aslan Wrote:No shit. Not saying Wisconsin would beat Bama or LSU at all, but they could play with both those teams, IMO.

Wisconsin's D is good enough to be competitive with the SEC powers. Bama's D may be good enough to slow the Wisconsin offense, but I don't think LSU's is.

Aslan Wrote:I'd love to see the streak go to 17.

If it does i think it will completely diminish fan bases around the entire country except for the SEC, and by then youll have law makers and everything else making laws that players can play so the playing field can be equal.

There would be about as much parity as womens college basketball and nascar.

But in the end ID LOVE IT lol.

They'd have two separate national champions. SEC would have one for their conference and the rest of the national would have one as well.
