As far as the time it has taken to get eligible, the Cordia kids got eligible quicker then anyone I have seen. It took a lot longer for Josh Whitaker and Robert Warren to get eligible and that was after Bell County ran his father off and he was hired by Hazard and that Robert Warren lived with them over a year before they ever moved to Hazard. The other Whitaker kid had to sit out all of last year after transferring from Leslie County.
None of the cordia kids ever played varsity bball. Cant stop them from playing.

If you're really out for this kid's best interest then answer me this....
Why would you get on here and openly state that you think he was recruited by Perry Central?
IMO the only thing would indicate you wanted was for him to be back in New York playing basketball.
His parents have good jobs down here, the cost of living is lower, it's a great place to live, and he's going to play for possibly the best team in all of Eastern Kentucky before anyone knew of his name. The only things that can stop this kid from doing something great with his life down here are
1.) Himself
and
2.) He isn't ruled eligible and can't showcase his talent
You won't have to worry about me responding to anything else you say because I'm not going to waste my time. You have your own agenda and getting me riled up is probably part of it.
If this thread gets out of hand and starts degrading this kid's name we'll have to take a long look at whether or not it needs to be open.

I personally cannot see Zaga not responding again but that is another subject. Jaysean will come down here and make a name for himself one way or another, It can be one in Basketball or it can be done other ways. I for one would rather see Perry Central get a great basketball player out of Jaysean than see him do something like not get ruled eligible because some people want to throw around accusations.
I can remember when I was going to Perry , The coaches and staff will do everything they can do showcase a players abilities and skill to schools. Just as much if not more than a Big Time New York school. Ive been researching Jamestown and To be honest, its another American High School. Odd enough us "Locals" can browse and find information and have enough common sense to put together a comparison of schools.
LET JAYSEAN PLAY BALL!! DON'T LIKE THAT HE IS GOING TO BE PLAYING BALL? TICKETS ARE USUALLY ONLY 6 DOLLARS. The best my meek mind can figure, that is 8.5 miles in a Taxi. Go watch the Nets play. You all got Carmelo now.
Zaga is pretty good about keeping stats on here, so were sure you will be checking back!

Hatcher will do everything within his power to get a player to the next level. From doing the basics in basketball, to being a good student in the classroom. He knows a lot of college coaches and will try to get his players names out there. Also if Jaysean does get eligible, he will go to class, and make at least decent grades. If not, Hatcher won't play him. He's very old school.

First of all, no one is degrading Jaysean. He never lived with me.
Many posters have questioned how someone from NYC happens to relocate to Eastern KY. Could it be a real relocation? Sure. Let's say it is.
We all wish Jaysean Paige the best in anything he does. Would Jamestown like to have him back? Of course. What has happened, has happened. We all hope he has a great season whether it is in Perry Central or anywhere.
Oh, by the way, not a Yankee fan. Don't particularly care for baseball. Also don't take a taxi to work. Please stop painting me as a hater. Not so.

I think Zaga just named off a few good reasons why someone would relocate to this area.

With Jaysean on the boys team, and the Girls team being as stacked as they are, both the Commodores and the Lady Commodores both could possibly be playing in the final four of each state tournament.
