What new rules needs to be introduced to high school basketball?
#1
I for one like the idea of the charge block arch like in college games. I think that is a good idea. Anyone have any other ideas?

I dont think they need to be any more there's enough as it is.....!!! Just let them have fun Wink

I think High School basketball should have a shot clock. Like 35 seconds or something.
#4
the artificial noise maker rule should be taken away.

I think that also needs to be looked at. One problem was throwing some of the home devised noise makers after a game or during. There needs to be some noise at games.

I agree with you b-ball star

I see two problems with a shot clock. Slower teams wont be able to run and gun, and it seems now that teams dont really run a set offence to get the good shot. I think if they did put in a shot clock, it should be 45 sec or so.

i think they should do away with some...for example the 3 second rule...post players dont have time too look and see where their at when looking for the ball. i no most of the time refs dont call it but their still some that do...

same here I agree.....but then again it would be nice if there was a 35 second shot clock....it would make it more interesting

There is a need for the shot clock to keep the teams from stalling, at least if they do they will have to take a shot and work for a rebound if they want to keep poss. 35 sec. sounds like a winner. They need to let the bands play anytime during the game not just during time outs.

Im sorry but i disagree because the coaches talk to the team while their on the court. the players couldnt here anything while playing if the band was playing.so if the coach sees something the team needs to do whats he supposed to do.call a time out? dont have that many to waste.:headphone nope

Refs from Florida....

I'd like to see a 45 second shot clock and for the refs to allow every to be in the hash marks during a free throw like the old rules used to be.

And instead of 3 seconds in the paint, go to 5 seconds just like the 5 second defense call.
