Panthers take it on the chin to a pretty good North Carolina school on the road.

Yea bad loss but season looks up from this point on. Some good things about this game was kicking game looked 100% better from last week. Alex Burgey-Vanhoose punt went for 67 or so yards and pinned em on their own 1 yard line. Also missed a 55 yard field goal. but not by distance just wide left but accuracy will come in time. passing game looked good at times but couldnt run the ball effectivly. learn from ur mistakes panthers get better in bye week and district games and youll b set for a region title run. good luck and play hard.

You got knocked down the last two games Panthers. Get up as quick as you went down and learn from it. These two games will help throughout the rest of the season and in the playoffs. we're proud of you. HAIL PIKEVILLE!!

Zach Burgy-VanHoose has an older brother that kicked for PHS years back, his name is Alex and I bet he would appreciate the kind words that he had a great punt and kicked well in Saturdays game, but I have to give the credit to Alex's brother Zach.

Pikeville did get hammered by the two toughest teams on their schedule, but if they did learn a lesson or two those beat downs should help them come playoff time.
As for the rest of the regular season the Panthers should win out easily and be able to work out any kinks the staff sees in their armor. Unless the players let those two beatings linger.
