Don't know anything about Pineville this year. I know they were pretty good last year but they lost their running back Cody Henderson so I'm gonna go with Paintsville.

The Pineville Mtn. Lions are 2-2 as is Paintsville. Pineville has beaten McCreary Central 20-14 and Lynn Camp 24-21. I suspect this will be a great game and should go down to the wire. I'm picking the Mtn. Lions 21-14.

Two teams that are not very good. It could go either way, but I am going to go with Pineville just based on the fact that Paintsville barely beat Jenkins.

Then the next week Paintsville lost a game they should have won to a team that beat jenkins 60-8. Comparing scores proves nothing it is all about that one particular night.
I wonder what Paintsville's staff will do in this one, Do they air it out or try to go back to the power game. It should be a good one.

Paintsville might want to try airing it out because Pineville is exceptionally big upfront on the D-line. Their defensive front is as big as any 4 or 5A team around. They may not be as strong but they are big and that could present a problem trying to run on them. Middlesboro put 40 up on them by passing the ball. Pineville also has Byron Asher back from a leg injury. He is the best athlete on the team. If not for the injury he would have been an all state selection easy. He will be a big boost for them. You'll have to stop him. I would say that Pineville could compare to Allen Central. If you can beat Allen Central, you can beat Pineville. The Tiger's will have to give it their all though.

I agree! It might make for a good game but I see no reason why Pineville won't win!
Pineville - 28
Paintsville - 18

Ahhh I see. Should be a pretty good game. If Paintsville can get their stuff together friday it could be a good game. If not, Pineville should by 3 td's. (I decided to change my prediction lol)

All-state selection?
He's a nice athlete, but if he was that good I think he would have got a few more carries last year.

Paintsville needs this one for sure.

I agree with you HDE. I don't think he is quite all-state material. He is probably the team's best player and about the 10th-15th best player in the district. He will be all-district and all-sekc, but not all-state.

Well, I would take any of Hazard's or Harlan's skilled kids that start over him. Do I need to name their names or is that suffice? There is no doubt that he is a good football player. He is Pville's best player and definitely better than anyone that Jenkins has.
