Thoughts,and predictions.

Boyle County will take this one easily...

This should be one of those opportunities for Boyle to try a lot of different things offensively. Taylor Co just isn't near the level of Boyle Co. The score will be immaterial.

Boyle will get 2nd team guys a lot of opportunities in this game

I agree, they should be able to get a lot of good looks out of a bunch of diffrent sets in this one. Boyle wins big.

Now, that's just mean! Why would anyone intentionally broadcast this game for everyone to see?

A good game for Boyle to get some backups some playing time. Boyle needs more depth for future games down the road.

Could be Boyle's first running clock of the season

I am trying to be respectful and not say 40+ point difference. TC has run the wishbone the past couple games. I will say that the Rebels should use this game to work on the passing game. Go Cards, and Rebels!

Just wondering.... how does Boyle Co. look at the JV and Freshman levels?

This game will get ugly real fast. But at least the younger guys will get to play

Is Boyle any good this year?
09-22-2011, 09:11 AM
TC is going into this game just hoping that they come out of it with no injuries. Every team goes into a game hoping to win but realistically, Taylor may be just hoping to put some points on the board this week. Depending on how good Boyle JV team is, will dictate rather or not Taylor will put up any points. I'll take Boyle 49-13 with Taylor scoring after the running clock starts.

Younger and not as good as the previous three seasons but still pretty good.
However we have some talent. Zach Hester has signed to play at the Naval Academy next year and our DT Thielmann has been getting looks from many colleges. Cox is a fine RB that might receive some looks from smaller schools as well.
It's tough to replace a QB every year and not have it effect you somewhere. Just my take.

Good point Hatz. Was Brandon Smith the last QB to start more than 1 year for Boyle?
I believe is memory serves me right it was something like this.
2011 Weddle
2010 Devin Hale
2009 Boone Goldsmith
2008 Phillip Mason
2007 Perry -Started injured / Smith / Jordon Aumiller finished
2006 ??
2005 Grant Tamme
2004 Brandon Smith
2003 Brandon Smith
2002 Brandon Smith
2001 Jeff Duggins
2000 Jeff Duggins
1999 Jeff Duggins

Forgot to mention that Johnson was in the position for three years before Duggins. That's 9 years with 3 QB's.
