You have got to be joking!!!!!! I seriously hope that you just found this and posted it making fun of Cordia and PCC. I really think that I am going to end up personally going to the KHSAA myself to complain.

He is 16 5'11 165..... And i would still rather have my 14 year old Braxton Beverley every day of the week.
#6
I heard his father has been hired as Executive Director of the Feds Creek Mall and Food Court. JK.

Just now looked at this thread. Kid looks like hes got some real talent. lol Im just wondering how these former uk players (preton & rhodes) have connection with canada. I know rhodes played for the grizzlies when they were in Vancouver, but don't know how east ridges coach got this kid down here. Cordias canadian transfer should be here sometime soon. I know anewpat ant happy but man this seasons going to be awesome!!!

I'm just going to be honest here, I don't see East Ridge competing this year, they are really young, but I do think in a year or two they will be a good team.
#11
who dont u see them competing with?

No disrespect to ER, but they should b able to compete in the 15th. A good JV team could have won that region last yr.
#13
^^^Really? Why didn't they then? Why didn't these awesome teams you're talking about just play their JV and take home the title?

Gah boys..

Should have!! Are u trying to tell me how strong the 15th was last yr??? Shelby valley won it with a JV team!!! They have everyone back and they all are freshman and soph this coming season. They are all eligible for JV, so i guess a GOOD jv team did win it after all last yr.

When Cordia first started talking about the foreign exchange students, they said they were getting two. Now, they say that one is there, and he is from Canada. This guy at East Ridge is from Canada. Just wondering, did Cordia's second foreign exchange student end up going to ER, or is there still another one coming?

Prob diff kids from diff pipelines. I would guess that rhodes is just getting started.

LOL......I sure hope he is just getting started. Like I said before, I'd like to see it get to the point where there is not one kid left in a Cordia uniform who had ever heard of Cordia High School before this school year. But, I take it that you are just assuming that these are different kids. Does anyone know for sure?

Im excited to see how Coach Lemaster does with the boys from East Ridge this season!

different kids...

East Ridge won't be any good this year. They won't have a winning record and they won't make it to the region tournament. IMO

Completely different kid. Kid from Canada is still on his way to Cordia. I wish both kids from Canada the best of luck.

I've heard that East Ridge has another transfer, I didn't hear what part of the country or what country he was from, but said he was 6'9" and was a D1 talent.

I believe people are really starting to go overboard saying all these schools are recruiting in the Mountains. Guys the way I see it, players come to play for coaches and programs. I know a few of these coaches from the 14th Region and a couple from the 15th and they do not recruit. Give the coaches a break, they can't help it if a kid wants to come play for them. I agree sometimes there are situations where coaches do stuff illegal, for example, having kids live with them at their homes, paying for the kids, the school paying someone, etc...I have heard of numerous schools getting some kids in from Canada this year. I believe Cordia, Pulaski Southwestern, Perry Central (kid from NY) and a couple others have new foreign exchange students, so lets get off these schools backs and just look forward to an exciting year of high school hoops!!

:lame:

I don't care who you are, you recruit. And no kid is going to want to move for their own good. If they wanted to do that, they'd move towards Louisville or Lexington if your that good or your that dedicated to basketball. Your not going to move to the 15th or 14th region.

One name...Brandon Bender
#30
Bender has Canadian connections, if you remember the article I posted below, Braeden Anderson, a Canadian, who was once a UK recruit was linked to Bender. It's only a matter of time before somethging comes up. I mean top Canadian players ending up in rural Kentucky just doesn't happen by chance.
