SV only gave up one first down the whole game. They did a good job fighting through all the flags that were thrown. Congrats jr CATS!

I was pretty amazed at all the flags thrown on SV. I counted 10 penalties on Valley, while Westside only had one, an offsides call. Valley's flags included at least 3 holding calls, and twice a Valley touchdown was nullified because of a holding penalty. There were also some very strange false start flags called, when it didn't appear anyone jumped at all. I could tell that the SV coaching staff was getting very frustrated at the officiating.
Still, like you said, they hung tough despite the inability to get any offensive rhythm going. Good win for the 3rd/4th graders.
