The ACT's investigation into test scores that were allegedly compromised in the Perry County School System is over.

Officials say there was enough evidence to disqualify dozens of tests at Perry County Central and Buckhorn High School.

In an open records request made by the Hazard Herald, ACT officials said there was an unusual number of similarities between responses in different rooms.

No direct actions by students or administrators were specified in the documents.

and that more than 100 students took the exam again, and 66 percent scored higher.

Buckhorn and Perry Central will continue to be used as testing sites in the future

I don't know anything about Canadians or Martians coming to the mountains.

All I know is that there are some really talented kids that are looking to suit up this year and represent Eastern Kentucky.
I don't care if the coach is running camps all over the nation, if a kid is here for one year to make a State Title run, or if a player comes from Mars....
This is going to be an interesting year for basketball and I think we need to just leave it at that.

Irish, I don't know if you are a scorned ex-teammate, a butt-hurt coach, or just simply a friend of the kid looking out for his well-being....

just don't trash Eastern Kentucky Basketball.

I knew about this kid being enrolled at Perry Central before some of the Coach's did, if that tells you anything about how hard he was "recruited"...
and I grew up in the Perry County School System and I worked hard for my ACT score along with everyone else I went to school with.
Let's just await the KHSAA's ruling and see what he can do on the football field this year.

I am sure he is. They wouldn't rule all the Texas and Canadian boys eligible and then deny him. But, wouldn't it be funny if they did approved all them and deny Paige's eligibility. Oh, this board would get interesting then!

I agree. I dont see how they can rule him ineligible. Legit move with parents, its gonna be hard for them not to approve him. If they did deny him eligiblity it would b terrible especially after all the other transfers(recruits) they have approved this season.

I disagree that moving with a parent is all the rules require, but I do agree that he should be ruled eligible if they are going to make all these other kids eligible. I just wonder why it's taking longer to get a ruling on him than it has for the others.

Actually, most of my friends who retook it managed to get a higher score than when they "cheated".

The KHSAA will investigate if Perry Central pursued him (recruited) and how the mother came to find the job in Perry County. All it's gonna take is one person to crack under pressure and this kid is done for.

i think someone is scared he is gonna get to play! well if cordia can get 3 to 7 out of state players elgible to play im sure they will let jaysean play! if not then all hell will brake out!

Thank you. They should investigate because neither parents "found" jobs in eastern KY. Get real! He was recruited. Stop pretending otherwise. If they rule him eligible, good for Perry. He is a talented player but lowlevel D1 prospect. Many posters are questioning not just Jaysean's move, all of the other "transfers". Something stinks in High School Basketball in Kentucky -- let your home grown kids play and win with the talent you have.
