Perry Central Gets a BIG Transfer?
Not even close defiantly more post question eligibility in the Cordia thread then this one.
Aslan Wrote:Agreed.

Don't worry he will get eligible. PCC can get who ever they want eligible with all the ties they have with the KHSAA. Not hard to do anyways, having that change of address is 85% of the battle

LOL hows pcc have ties with the KHSAA?
Aslan Wrote:Don't recall this.

I don't remember anyone giving the kid a hard time for transferring.
I hated to see him leave but I don't recall anyone but the KHSAA giving anyone a hard time.

Me either!!! Thats a whole different situation. Lets please not go there. Your right zaga fan, No one gave that kid a hard time.
Jaysean was announced by Coach Haddix at the pep rally today as part of the team. He stood in between Beatty and Pray so i'm assuming he's taking the #3.

Well I can give you one example. Where did the Commish's wife teach at before she retired.

fooled me lol where?
OrangenowBlue Wrote:Well I can give you one example. Where did the Commish's wife teach at before she retired.

I am assuming you are hinting at the Perry County School System. If so, they have enough pull to get Jaysean Paige approved, but they didn't have enough pull to get the Texas boys denied. I guess ex-UK player who got ran off trumps ex-teacher even if the ex-teacher is your wife.Confusednicker:

What????? Did PCC put in against those kids at Cordia or something??

And what county did she grow up in ONB!!!!!!!!!
This article may have already been posted. However, below is an interesting article from the Buffalo News. It said the kid's mother was offered a better paying job in Perry County, Kentucky.

Old news, but thanks!!! Every good player that comes into a new school always has to better the situation they were in, if not why come!!!
Necessity, maybe.
High Sheriff Wrote:And what county did she grow up in ONB!!!!!!!!!

Maybe she needs to help her "native county" every now and then. LOL.

Or they have been coerced into thinking they are coming into a better situation.

Possible!!!
WOW!! I don't know how I missed this thread!

So....did this kid decide to go to Perry Central?

If so, this has to put Perry Central in the state championship contention! This kid averaged 26.1 ppg on a state championship team!

I heard someone mention that this kid might have a 42'' vertical? I think it might be true!

^ he is indeed at Perry Central. Reason he's down here is because him mom got a job or was promoted to a job down here (can't remember if she found a job or if she was promoted - someone help me out?)

He mom found a better paying job here. I knew that there was the possibility that he might go back to school in New York but, I am glad to hear that he is at Perry Central! Should make for quite the basketball season!

Guys get real. A job was located for her. This started out with his dad getting a job as an IT specialist at TECO and then later on it had to do with the mom. Same as Cordia, the story changes on a weekly basis. You really think she is going to come from upstate New York to get a job in southeast Kentucky, with no family ties, without any contact or recruitment by someone. He first went to Logan WV where Coach Hatcher's son is the coach but they would not allow him to enroll so he magically ends up at Perry Central. If you think this is strictly a coincidence I have some oceanfront in Beattyville to sell you.
