Lawrence County @ Perry Central 9/9
#31
Perry Central is going to win this one in a big way. I just don't think LC can cover PC in the passing game. PC is having a really good year so far.
#32
perry goes on to be 4-0
PCC-49
LC-21
#33
Perry - 40
Lawrence - 12
#34
I'm pulling for the Dawgs.
#35
I'm going with PCC by 2 td's in this one.
#36
Lawrence is big & tough, but this may be one of the slowest teams they've had in 10 years. Perry Central has arguably the fastest team this side of Lexington, so I'll have to go with the speed of Perry Central by 3-4 touchdowns.

Best of luck to both!
#37
Perry has too many weapons and will win by 16. White, Pray, Beatty and Rankin will have all big games.
#38
PCC by 2 scores, they won't play as hard as they have the last 3 weeks. Take a breather dores!!!!!
#39
Perry Co- 40
Lawrence Co- 12

Perry's B+ game is a win.. They're just too tough for LC.

I dont mean this to be mean, but has Rankin been a factor any this year? I saw a few drops the first week, and dont remember anything out of him at Johnson. Is he just shadowed by White, Pray, and Beatty or is he just not getting enough balls thrown his way?

He had a long TD run last week to pull us within one before halftime.
When he gets the ball, he almost always make something positive happen.

Ok I didnt see them play last week. Missed that.

Rankin is a player who you put the ball in his hands on 3rd down and 85% of the time it's gonna be a 1st down.

Hes quick and elusive. Would be a #1 skill player on a lot of teams. However I think he may be 3rd or 4th on this team. Which isnt an insult, Perry has some great players this year.

You say clinch, but think about it. It was the same situation that Maryland was in last night. A score only put them up 8 with a little over a minute to go. JC had no time outs, once he broke free the game is over if he goes down. Going in for the late score is probably what 70% of kids in the same situation would of done, but the smart play would of been to take the knee and win.
If you remember this gave JC 4 tries from about midfield to score and tie the game. Not a clincher by no means.

Got the W. But not a clincher by any means.

Man....
no one is underrating Perry now.
I won't have as much fun on the post-game thread.
It will either be mildly fun or very demoralizing lol

Damn. I wanna see some zaga burns on Saturday morning. The cats out o the bag on the Commodores. Be hard to get people to predict Perry losing by a few scores now.

Lawrence will not be able to stop the passing attack. Perry wins 42-14. Coach Haddix starts the season off at 4-0.

Perry Central should win this game. I have watched several of PCC's games this year and I am really impressed with the players and the Coaching Staff of Perry Central's football program.
