If they will spread it out I think SW could win handily, if they go back to running into the line then they'll lose.

IMO Starnes "Could" be best QB at SW ever, but SW needs to play to his talents.
SW line the supposed strength of this team is,....well,....uh....not!

That said SW has the talent to match up with just about everyone on their schedule this year. Turn em loose Dale, they may surprise you.

Exactly, if they stick to that spread that they were running in the 2nd half against Rowan they could be a tough team by the time they iron everything out for the playoffs. That veer game that they have been running at SW for years might get you some wins, but it just isn't going to get you any hardware against good teams. Too easy to make mistakes, to hard to beat defenses week in and week out. Take the spread and run with it.

You two are exactly right. Southwestern needs to be passing the ball around with all of the weapons that they have because the running game isn't working.

SW has some very athletic players at some very key positions. i can remember watching them when the played against rowan.. they QB threw a decent ball and if i counted correctly the tight end Number 16 caught 16 passes. if marion can stop the passing game and hold them to 5.... 3 and outs marion county will win the game

This is a must win for SW. They can't afford to go to 0-3 even if its not a division game. I agree with going to the spread offense also. They will be hard to beat if they let commit to the passing game.
