Before the season, most everyone knew that Valley would have a tough go of it this season with a new coach and a rebuilding roster. Despite being 2-1 now, beating up on the likes of East Ridge and Jackson Co. has not exactly convinced me that this still anything other than a rebuilding year.

In addition, once you get past the shock factor of Pike Central getting upset by Powell Co., you realize that Powell appears to be much improved and the loss doesn't look so bad.

I figured this to be a Pike Central blowout, and I'm still going with that. SV may score some, but they will have trouble slowing down PC's aerial attack. I'll say Central wins 41-20.
