I look for a strong showing from Belfry with the Pirates getting the win. This game will be close but Belfry will prove to be too strong in the end. Belfry wins 28-21.

Prestonsburg has had Belfry's number the past two seasons, but this looks like Belfry's best team since '08.

Scary thing is, Prestonsburg has yet to put a complete game together as they played great in the 2nd half against Perry, played great in the first half against Sheldon Clark, and played great in the 1st half against Lawrence. However the Blackcats haven't been at full strength either as Jamerson has been hampered with the shoulder injury. Grant Anderson has done a magnificent job filling in for Jamerson as he's probably been the most impressive player offensively for Prestonsburg thus far. Bryson Williams has been great on defense, but Belfry doesn't throw the ball too much to give him much of a chance to make a play on the ball. I expect a huge game out of MLB Chris Cook. He's been a beast this season and no one has been able to run between the tackles on Prestonsburg.

Seems like through the first 3 games that Prestonsburg's defense has struggled when they've been spread out. Belfry only usually puts one guy wide, so I'm sure coach James will have the box loaded up with 9 or 10 guys at all times forcing the Pirates to pass. Scary thing is the Pirates can pass this season and if Tyler Williams is given time to pass out of play action then it could lead to a big play for Belfry.

Should be a great game between two very good football teams... Best of luck to both!!!

Good news is, Belfry will not see anyone as fast as they saw last night. They will see ALOT more strength, though. Belfry looks too good thus far. Give me the Pirates, Score? Well they've scored 34 two weeks in a row so ... 34-14.

This has the making of a great game this being at P-burg Belfry will have to play
a game without stupid mistakes but i thank Belfry can and will pull out a win don't
know what the score will be but i'm sure it is going to be a great one GO PIRATES.

Belfry should win this, but p'burg has one hell of a football program down there. I wouldnt be surprised if Pburg actually pulled the upset, i hope to god they do.

But watching belfry play they may just be to much to overcome.

If Pburg's passing game is on then they will win this one. Their timing was off against LC so they relied more on the run. I think against Belfry they are going to have to get into the endzone quick and not let Belfry slow this game down. I also think Grant Anderson's ability and speed will give them the edge to break open some big plays and do just that. Belfry seems to have 4 go to guys to score which is dangerous. However Prestonsburg can easily spread the ball around to 3 or 4 really good weapons. This might be one of the top games in the state this week.
