Morehouse is a Division II team from the Atlanta area.

On paper we could very well go 40-0. I would love to see it! I'd say we will lose probably 2-3 games.
I hope your right Aslan, 40-0 would be awesome!
Bringing home #8 would be even better!

I see a few threats...
Of course North Carolina will be tough..
Kansas another one..
Tenn @ Tenn is always difficult..
Florida is another..
Something about the St. Johns game I just don't like also..
That is the only games I see us even possibly losing...

Indiana @ Indiana, should be a win but it could be a lot closer than most think. Tom Crean is finally getting the players to fit his system. The Hoosiers could be a team to outlook out for in 2011-12 season.

I'd bet anything you wanted to bet.
UK +10 in that one.

The games we have to worry about the most, are the ones we all don't even look at as a possibility of losing. It will suck, but we will live and still be able to get a #1 seed if we lose to UNC/Kansas/Loserville/and once to Florida or Tennessee, but if we lose 1-3 of the "automatic" games, that could screw us.

Forgot about Louisville..
Only because they aren't really a threat to me anymore

I see four UK losses. Kansas, St Johns, Louisville, and UNC.

Good observation.
I see West Virginia loses against, Alcorn State, Akron, Mississippi State, Morehead State, and Marshall

SJU is a team on the rise, but should not be able to beat UK this year. But, this is one of those games that the young Cats can't have a down game.
Louisville is one of those rivalry games where the best team does not always win. So, the Cards certainly could be trouble, but will not be the better team.
Kansas and UNC should be just as good as the Cats. They will not fear UK in any way. It's why I look to both of these games as true indication of what UK can accomplish next March.

I don't care what our regular season record is, just as long as we bring #8 home to where it belongs.

We will not lose to either St. Johns or Louisville. Big Least is overated and neither team will stand a chance. Mark it down!!

I'm not sold on Indiana making any sort of impact this season. College basketball has a load of very very good teams and the Hoosiers are not one of them IMO.

Seriously the only game that I'm worried about is UNC. They're just as talented as us, but also have more experience. But it's at Rupp, and UK will find a way to win.
Kansas lost a lot last year. They'll have plenty of talented freshman, but IMO well beat them by double digits.
Indiana is a year away from competing. They have the #1 recruiting class for next year, so far.
Louisville is a rivalry game, I wouldn't be surprised if they beat us, but UK is so much more talented, and should win.
I'm sorry guys, but UK is going 40-0, and getting #8. Y'all just gotta face reality

Good post. I'll put a bit more credence into Kansas. As much as I'd love to agree with you, going undefeated for the season is not going to happen (or else I lose my bet)

A bet that you'd be happy to lose
I rarely make bold predictions like this, but I seriously think UK has a chance to make history, and be the first team ever to go 40-0.

I'd hate to see WVU's cupcake schedule this year.

Maybe one loss to North Carolina. If UK doesn't lose focus in their SEC schedule I can see them running the table and maybe being the best team we have seen in college basketball in many years.

They'll be more competitive this year. Next year, watch out, they're gonna be really good.

we got 1 thing we didnt have last year and thats depth and with all the talent we have theres no reason we cant go 40-0 and win number 8! GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
