Thoughts,and predictions.

Boyle gets well quick in this one. I think that they will take out some anger and frustration from last week in this one.

ACS just took a whipping last night themselves. This is not the 13-1 team from last year. BC is heads and shoulders better and should prove so in the final score

I sure hope Boyle learns some things from fridays loss to Highlands, not only the players, but the coaching staff also.i was very disappointed in the play calling on offense, and the way the defense was out of posistion plus all the missed tackles.Boyle has always gang tackled, and swarmed to the football.i didnt see any of this friday night.they have got a long way to go if they want another shot at Highlands come november.

Boyle-54
ACS-10
ACS-10

Boyle bounces back big in this game. I think they win by 21.

ACS has a better defense than what they showed against BG and BG plays a different style than Boyle. I do not think this will be a blowout because Boyle has issues on offense. Boyle wins, by 10

A rematch of the only exciting state finals game last year, but this time, im thinking blowout. ACS got hammered by Bowling Green last week and even though BG is a very good team, so is Boyle County.
Boyle County wins by several scores
Boyle County wins by several scores

Boyle 42
ACS 14

ACS 14

Boyle County by 21

Boyle takes it!
08-22-2011, 01:28 PM
I hope to see improved tackleing on defense, and better play calling on offense.coach Mason couldn't seem to do anything other than run the ball up the gut against Highlands friday.
08-22-2011, 01:32 PM
Boyle in a running clock.
08-22-2011, 06:41 PM
Boyle Co. gets back to .500 with a 35-14 win.GO REBELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll pick Boyle by 21. But we sure have some problems to correct first. Our defense didn't swarm to the ball at all against Highlands and I guess Chris Mason knows what he's doing, but when something isn't working at least try something else. He absolutely wore Devon Cox out running the ball straight up the middle. I think Highlands knew what was coming almost every time. We couldn't throw the ball or catch he ball. I guess we had to run the ball every time.

Amen Brother,my sentiments exactly.

Boyle by a few tds if they figure their offense out if not then boyle by 12

If Boyle can only win this game by 21, they need to take a look at the entire coaching staff. This program is way way to advanced not to have a big win unless they are going to play the JV and the Freshman to give them some game time to strengthen the bench. Just my thinking.

Ok Boyle County fans lets get one thing straight you all just got the crap beat out of you all by highlands offence wich is ranked number one in 4a.ACS just got the crap beat out of them by Bowling Green special teams and Defence plus made so many mistakes in one half of a quarter it was just crazy.Plus Bowling Green is ranked number one in 5a.And I watched both games and think Bowling Green is better than Highland this year. There defence is beyond good.I understand you all picking a win but to set here and act like you all are top dog now that highlands is behind u all is just crazy. You all need to step back and hope for the best because you all are in the same boat as everyone else with one loss at this point. How in the world can someone get beat like a little step child and then the next week be cocky and start saying how bad u are going to beat a team in the same boat u are in.

I watched both games and will take bowling green over highlands easy. How can you set there and talk about how bad boyle is going to beat acs when they just got the crap beat out of them. There is no way a boyle county fan should be thinking a blow out against anyone. They are in the same situation as everyone else with a loss.Hey if u do beat us then after the game start talking. But after friday night if i was u all i would be careful before u speak. That was not Boyle County football did u all lose your whole team i sure hope so man that was just awful. This is the way u all sound on here.

Most if not all the posters that are predicting a Boyle blowout are not Boyle county fans.I'm a Boyle fan,and after fridays loss to Highlands i'm not real confident we could beat the little sisters of the poor.don't get me wrong Highlands is very good, but we could have played a whole lot better in my opinion.

Thats how I feel about acs we hung in there with Bowling Green for a quarter and a half then all hell broke loose. It was a chain reaction of mistakes and with a team like the purples they will make you pay.I do see up side to the team if they can get it worked out.But in no way am I predicting a win or loss.Just belive that if they can get it together they can hang with anyone. But we have a long way to go.I know Hood and the team are working as hard as last years team no doubt.Guess it gos back to experince.

Just my two cents worth but those plays up the middle are the same plays boyle has been running for about 15 years. The same plays as last year and the year before. Everyone knows what we will try to do. Several of those plays up the middle were stopped by one person and if we hold that block just a second longer or Devon can get free then it's a race. The offensive line was the worry before the start of the season and still is. No real surprises. Just need to keep working hard.

Agreed. Mason knows how to call plays (7 titles), the players just need to execute better.

Thank you!!!!! I am beginning to wonder if some of these posters are even Boyle fans. They sound silly to me. Like they don't know what we did to get where we are at. I guess it will take Highlands destroying everyone before people will understand what the boys were up against last Friday night.

That's the difference. You aren't us. If we don't beat ACS by at least 4 tds then I doubt we will be good enough to win state and will struggle all year long. I expect us to beat a team that lost 85% of it's offense pretty soundly. Until then I'll walk around believing we are the #2 team in 4A which is where I last saw us ranked in 4A. I'll walk around believing we can and will beat Highlands in November and LexCath in October and November. I didn't see us get beat like a stepchild I saw us make a lot of fixable mistakes. Our players believe 2 plays cost them the game and I can dig it. The only qb we will see as good as Towles is Bolin and that makes a huge difference in the outcome of our future games. Good luck to your rebuilding ACS squad that is expected to go 7-3 in the regular season (because we know you are rebuilding) and have a safe trip up here. We'll truly see where each team is at come Saturday.

You are a great poster PurplePride, I meant RebelPride.
Really though, I like reading your posts.

Neither team is as good as last season but the drop off at ACS is far greater than Boyle. Boyle plays a diffrent style than LC but I think Hester and Hale(think thats the TB name) will rack up yardage I say 28-0

I'll disagree with that. I think the offense has shifted the last 3 years to more of a "run it up the middle" focus. Prior to that, it seemed more diverse.
