Yes.
In all seriousness, the only people at this point who know how good ACS is going to be are people within the program. The rest of us haven't had a chance to lay eyes on them, and neither of the first two games are likely to be good indicators of their season as a whole given they follow this one up with a trip to Boyle County. ACS lost 17 seniors, with almost all of them significant contributors. On a team that rushed nearly 87% of their plays, they don't return a player who rushed more than 15 times. They lost the interior of their line. They lost the bulk of their defense. For all we know they have guys that are ready to step up to fill those gaps, but only time will tell, and I think the task may be too tall for them to do that right away.
Bowling Green is a much more known quantity. They went 9-3 last year, and have 28-30 seniors on this team. They were 9 points away from being undefeated, as they lost by 2, 3, and 4 to Trinity, Warren Central, and Christian County respectively. They led both Warren Central and Christian County by 10+ in the fourth quarter before faltering. They return 9 senior starters to a defense that gave up a shade over 9 points a game. Every major skill position player returns with the exception of one RB and their TEs. They look to be EXTREMELY good.
