LOSERS QUIT WHEN THEY'RE TIRED, WINNERS QUIT WHEN THEY HAVE WON
#2
Mason County at #3 over Bell County? SMH

I guess having a UK signee helps in the rankings obviously.
#3
Bell Co should be #2 with their RB and Oline returning.
#4
Mason ahead of Belfry or Bell?
#5
These rankings are very strange !!!!

#3 Mason County is always the most overrated team in the state, year in and year out theyre ranked in the top three , and always fizzle out in the playoffs, and never meet expectations. Theyre ranked way to high!

#4 Bell County should be ranked second, and would beat Mason county by 30 points IMO.

#8 E-town, this is the first that I've seen them ranked in any top 10, let along ahead of teams that may throttle them in an actual game, they only won 4 games the entire last season , with losses by 28 to 2A Desales, 29 to Collins, 28 to NH, and 24 to Larue county.

#10 Sheldon Clark returns is leading rusher, and top two defensive players, along with the 3000 yards of offense that Zack Norman and Tim Smith bring to the table, the Cards have two players who run sub-4.5 40 yard dashes in Smith and Skyles
#6
I don't know about this. Belfry has been the best program in the mountains for years and all the way down at five. Bell should be higher too. Daverport alone should have them higher.
#7
Bell should be ranked 2nd IMO. They still have some proving to do this year but they are still going to be a solid team.
#8
I think:

1) Central
2) Paducah Tilghman
3) Bell Co.
4) Belfry
5) Sheldon Clark
6) Lawrence Co.
7) Mason Co.
8) Breathitt Co.
9) Corbin
10) Pike Co. Central
#9
It makes me wonder if whomever actually configured these rankings forgot that Bell Co has dropped down from 4A!! Bell County has consistently been the #1 or #2 team in 4A since football switched to the 6 class system and now that they're in 3A they suddenly drop to the #4 team?? I just don't understand!

At this point, preseason rankings such as these are speculative plumage. Looks pretty. Means nothing.
#11
Mason County at #3 is absolutely ridiculous. Yes they have Black and Harris but no offensive line to help them with!
#12
Bell should be 2 and Belfry at 3....I would love to see a Bell/Belfry go at it, you'd have to get there early to get a seat lol

5. Mason County
6. Sheldon Clark
7. Corbin

So true! I gives us something to discuss and analyze, and also gives some thoughts to speculate on, but means absolutely nothing.

IMO Bell will move up the rankings and leap frog other people soon as they start winning. Only reason they are a little low in preseason is the coaching change, and to me thats totally understandable when you lost someone like Dudley Hilton.
#16
^ Agreed! I think there is something to prove that BC can continue at the same level in the first year of a new head coach!
