Allan Hatcher- I like his style and it dont get much better watching him on the sideline.

Its Booher lol and like I'v said before SV isn't exactly tiny. But this is a great list the only addition I would make to the past coaches is Bill Mike Runyon.

I agree BMR deserves on the list as well as Danny Adams-Magoffin and just forgot to add them. As for shelby valley they may not be so tiny untill you get out of eastern Kentucky. Teams like Ballard, Christian County, etc... have enrollments up to 1800 to 2300 students so thats why i was calling SVHS small. And they beatup on alot of these big teams. Thats all i was meanig. Thank you for the kind words.

I enjoyed playing at Harlan in the early/mid 80's under coach Billy Hicks. I think he is still at Scott Co. but not sure. He was/is a good coach I had a lot of respect for him. I know he had some great teams at Scott Co..

Past: Marvin Meredith Russell Jeep Clark Boyd Co.

Present: Randy Anderson Boyd Co.
#17
Wendell Wallen, Meade Memorial Red Devils & JC Golden Eagles
Denzil HOSS Halbert, Martin Purple Flash
Russell Williamson, Inez Indians
Pete Grigsby, McDowell Dare Devil
All from the 15th Region, also enjoyed watching Bobby Keith coach from the
13th, I believe.

You haven't seen a coach like the one on the sidelines in Garrard County, Brad Sizemore. Young and knows his basketball like he is 50. Can't wait to see what he ends up doing.

:Thumbs:He is not my dad, but no one else is close to Denny.
#23
Randy Anderson is the best coach in eastern KY
#24
Brad Carr - Scott. Gets more from the limited athletes and any coach in NKY. He prepares his teams better than any I have witnessed.
#25
I have seen most all the above coaches several times. My favorite hands down is "Mike Flynn" at Highlands. Listerman was a great one aswell. If I had to pick a coach for a son of mine to play for Flynn is my guy.
#26
Rodney Rowe
#27

#28
John "CRASH HOLLY" Noble - Hardest working coach in the business. He definately needs to be the next coach at Perry when Hatcher leaves.

Agree, also fun to watch on the sidelines.

Paul Patterson at Ashland. He taught his players far more than how to play and win at basketball. He taught them valuable lessons of life. And, in doing so, his teams never lost a game to another Sixteenth Region school. Truly a man of high principles.
