There was no last.

He coached the freshman team a few years ago, but James is the asst. football coach at the high school and also the brother of head coach, John Derossett.

Coach James knows his stuff, so these boys should be tough and good defenders.

Congrats to Coach James for getting the gig. This will ensure there will be no problems in getting the football players to play basketball, which is HUGE for Prestonsburg.

Witnessed The First Meeting With All Players Today.....What turned out to be three hour mini practice....BUT EACH PLAYER CAME OUT WITH SMILES ON THEIR FACES.....They are excited with NEW ATTITUDES, NEW COACHES, AND NEW BEGINNING's.....Can't Wait Until Basketball Season Starts!! HAIL BLACKCATS!!

A great hire! Kids love him and he knows the game. The only thing I will miss about Pack was watching him get mad and start losing parts; his toupee, his teeth, etc...
It will be nice to see all of the coaches work together instead of the way it has been.

I hope the new coaches will look at the talent we have and develope a team.
We have the kids to have a deep bench and be very competive in the 15th region. The incoming talent should be prepared as a team and practice together to develope that team atmosphere. We have a chance for a new begining lets take advantage. GO BLACKCATS!!!!!!:Thumbs::Clap::Cheerlead

Congrats to Coach James, I think he could be the right guy for the job. Should be an interesting basketball season for the Blackcats.Hope to see all the talent Prestonsburg has to offer come out for the team.
