Dude, it's cool if you don't like Peyton Manning but to say overrated is just stupid..... I hate Brady but I know he's good.....
Peyton Manning makes nobody's into somebody's....
You can't say Brady or Manning are overrated... Two of the best EVER!!!!

And another thing why don't more people like the Colts???
They win year in and year out, Never in the news for anything bad (cheating, drugs, jail, etc...) They aren't cocky. They are a class-act team on and off the field. I just don't understand why so many people dislike them....

Right or wrong, a starting QB's legacy is big games. Manning has come up short in big games his entire career. At Tennessee, he goes 0-4 against Florida and won with only one SEC title. Manning has been surrounded by offensive talent his entire career, Marshall Faulk (HOF), Edgerin (SP?) James in his prime (Borderline HOF), Marvin Harrison (Future HOF), Reggie Wayne (Number 1 reciever on most teams), Jeff Saturday (One of the best centers in the game possible HOF), good O-Line. All that talent surrounding him and he has a 9-10 career playoff record with 7 one and dones. Manning is a great regular season QB. I would take him over anybody as my QB in a game in September, just not in the playoffs. IMO, he is not one of the two best ever.

YOUR CRAZY....
Manning has NEVER been surrounded by talent...... Never had a go-get-in WR.... Manning has made his WR's what they are.... Just look at Yards After Catch....
Mannings never had a Andre Johnson, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, WR's that go up and get the ball, Manning has to put the ball in the right place ever time for anyone of his team to catch it, and yes Wayne too....
As for the BIG GAME TALK!!!! Manning is only on one side of the ball..... Colts D has never played good in big games..... Manning gets his....
If Garon, Collie, White, and Jacob Tamme is talent then the NFL sucks....
Oh Yeah, Manning don't throw screens and let players run 50 yards... (Brady)......
06-03-2011, 02:58 PM
I dont like the Colts because they are normally the best team in the AFC South.

19-16 Titans
23-17 Dolphins
41-0 Jets
24-14 Patriots
20-3 Patriots
21-18 Steelers (We all know that 8 points were a gift from the officials)
28-24 Chargers
23-17 Chargers
31-17 Saints (Manning throwing the game clinching TD for the Saints)
17-16 Jets
Considering how prolific the Colts' offense is in the regular season. Looks like the offense did not quite show up about 10 times in his career. Except for two games, the defense held their own in the playoffs.

I will give you 41 but the Colts scored 0 that game with Manning behind center.
The 31 point game, 7 was from a pick six which the Colts were driving to tie the game, another 7 was from a short field which the Saints recovered an onsides kick. The D played better than that score indicated.
With a prolific offense that the Colts have had the last several seasons, 20 something points should be nothing to overcome. I am sure the Colts scores more than 20 points in their sleep in the regular season.

But you'll see when Manning is done playing and HAS EVER ALL-TIME RECORD THERE IS but INT's...

They had the Team to win 4-5 Superbowls. And he always folded in crunch time.
And then he finally got one. Sound Familiar?

Plz tell me how they had the team to win it 4-5 times....
To win the Superbowl, it's on your D more then it is your QB....

ekff Wrote:Plz tell me how they had the team to win it 4-5 times....If it is so much the D, then tell me why that the Colts D allows fewer points per game in the playoffs (21), than the Steelers (22) and has still won 2-1 Super Bowls in the last 6 seasons. I know it is only a point per game average, but a team known for its D is giving up more points than the Colts who has "no defense". The Steelers score more per game than the Colts in the playoffs (26-22). It's not all Defense.

^ Do u watch the NFL playoffs???????????????
How many points does the Steelers D Score off Turnovers....
Also you have to look at Kick/punt points....
Colts don't get any D, or Special Team TD's...
You can't just look at points, points can come from anywhere...

IF defense wins championships then why draft Top offensive players.
YOu can have the best defense in the WOrld. But if your offense cant score. YOur going nowhere.
