ESPNâs HoopGurlz.com has released its new listing of top 100 prospects in the Class of 2012 and it includes a pair of Kentucky high school basketball players.
Boone County junior Sydney Moss, a two-time member of The Courier-Journalâs All-State team, is ranked as the No. 38 player nationally. Moss, a 5-foot-11 forward and the daughter of NFL All-Pro wide receiver Randy Moss, recently committed to Florida.
Manualâs April Wilson, a Purdue commitment, is ranked at No. 81 in the listing. The 5-foot-7 Wilson is a point guard.
Cicero-North Syracuse (N.Y.) forward Breanna Stewart is ranked No. 1 and point guard Moriah Jefferson is No. 2. Both are committed to Connecticut.

She is definitely a star. I was privileged to watch this young woman play, and she is the real deal

Her ratings will most likely go up. I hear from her Kentuciy Premier coaches that's she's playing really well. My daughter, Sara began the summer at #27 and by August, the next update on most ratings she had climbed to #12. My feeling is Sydney Moss will make a dramatic move as well.
