Tanner Perkins from Rockcastle County has done very well in his Sophomore season at WKU. If the links's stats are confusing, here is a simple version:
6-3, 2.24 ERA, 1 shut-out, 80.1 innings, 67 K's, 18 BB
Just wanted to update BGR on how a local boy is doing.
BTW- He is in a little bit of a slump, the numbers were EVEN BETTER a couple weeks ago.

Tanner's Last 4 starts:
Loss- 6.1 innings 9 hits 3 Earned Runs 2 BB 4 K's
No-Decision- 7.0 innings 9 hits 3 Earned Runs 1 BB 7 K's
No Decision 7.0 innings 5 hits 1 Earned Run 3 BB 6 K's
No Decision 6.2 innings 6 hits 1 Earned Run 3 BB 5 K's
Can WKU score any runs for him? Sheesh!

it seems like every time he pitches they can not score.

Now he is 7-4 with a 2.32 ERA, 93.0 innings, 71 K's 21 BB.
His last win, he had to throw 7 innings of shutout baseball, and it took WKU until the 8th inning to score a single run, so they almost blew that game for him.
