Guy's, got home late, so know nothing about how this game went. Did Bosh take off his man-skirt and play this game???

Aslan Wrote:Yep, it's over. Sounds like a hell of a game. Any stats? I know Lebron had a big double double.

LeBron James scored 35 points, Dwyane Wade had 28 and Chris Bosh had 20 on Monday night to give the Heat a 98-90 overtime victory over the Celtics and move Miami within one game of the Eastern Conference finals. The Heat lead the best-of-seven East semifinals 3-1, with a chance to close out the series in Miami on Wednesday.

Paul Pierce scored 27, Ray Allen had 17 and Kevin Garnett had seven points and 10 rebounds for Boston. Rajon Rondo, who dislocated his left elbow Saturday night in Game 3, played 39 minutes with a padded sleeve covering what appeared to be a brace on his left arm, scoring 10 with five assists.

Boston took an 84-81 lead with 2:28 left after back-to-back 3-pointers by Delonte West and Allen, but James hit a 3 to tie it and then made a left-handed lay-in with 48 seconds to play to give Miami an 86-84 lead. Pierce drove to the basket to tie it, but James lost control of the ball while he was dribbling down the clock.

Allen went for it and was bumped by James Jones, giving Boston the ball out of bounds with 19.5 seconds left and the game tied at 86. Pierce got the ball, waited out the clock and then took a high-arcing fallaway jumper in the final seconds that bounced off the rim as time expired.

The Celtics scored just four points in overtime, shooting 1 for 6 and making four of their 18 turnovers. Garnett started things off by throwing the ball away, and then James made a fallaway jumper as the shot clock expired to give Miami an 88-86 lead.

Allen missed, Bosh dunked at the other end, West missed a 3-pointer and then James drew a charging foul on Pierce. After another Boston turnover, Wade made a 2-pointer with his foot on the 3-point arc to give Miami a 92-86 lead with 2 minutes left in overtime.
"We just had poor execution down the stretch," Pierce said. "It just carried into overtime, it seemed like. We feel like tonight we beat ourselves."

One game after the Heat's Big Three combined for just 44 points -- their lowest total since they assembled their superteam in Miami -- they provided almost all the offense. No one else had more than four points, and the Heat's bench totaled just seven, but they won in Boston to earn the chance to finish it in five.

Stardust, I believe it is because the L.A. boat was leaving the dock and automatically sunk.. Was supposed to be built 100x stronger than the titanic..

The Boston Celtic ship has holes in it, they are abandoning ship as we speak.

The Big 3 move one step closer to the Hawks/Bulls

^ It's just not fun any more..... Ballers, we can't just sit here in smiles all by ourselves with no haters trying to knock that smile off the the "Lechoke", and "Heat have not beat anyone", blah, blah, blah. Aslan stuck it out, but the house is empty now....

Whoa whoa whoa I haven't went nowhere my friend. In my defense though if I have slacked on posting this week and last week have been Finals in college. Or maybe Im still posting im just not important enough to be grouped with Aslan? Either way, if you want some hate here you go..... Lebron got incredibly lucky in this game. 9 times out of 10 he misses the big 3 pointer to tie the game up. Then he makes a costly turnover with 20 seconds to go. An unforced era with no excuse as to why it happened. Then on the other end the Celtics bailed him out by missing the game winner (for two reasons, Pierce went left and they should have gave Allen the ball). Then he played well in OT to pull it off, but IMO should have never made it to OT.

I am not a lebron fan because of his lack of consistant defense but I have a little more respect for him after yesterday because majority of game he held Pierce without the ball even though he had 27 pts total. he shut Pierce down in the final few minutes and Pierce with the ball in isolation.

Im still here just been busy... Hate to say it but I think its over this year.

Lebron may get his ring this year. I figured the Celts were the team to take them out. I dont' know if anyone else remaining in the playoffs can.

You can bet this much, if they make the finals I'll be pulling for the west.

Glad to see Miami pull this one off. Chris Bosh stepped up last night, and Lebron def showed some skills!

There was no 6 & 5 for Bosh last night.. He went beast mode.

Lebron made Paul look like a "Paula"! All night long he stuck it in Pierce's face, and the most telling shot was after LBG held the ball, teasing it in front of Paul for four seconds, the King rose to the heavens and drained the shot. Paul immediately bent at the waist shook his head in disbelief and the Kings feats of greatness! If you analogy is correct, then the Heat should have been down, but it was the King that had them in the position to win the game in the first place, but all the naysaying about the last minute is all that is ever heard. Forget the first 39 minutes, forget that the King has more game winning shots and the highest % of any NBA player in the past 8 years, blah, blah, blah!

Heat 3 - Celtics 1:worthy:

You're make Lebron sound like a god, lol.
I don't see how that stat is right though, I've never seen anybody miss as many game winners this year as Lebron. He missed a ton this year, Heat were 1-18 in close games.

I'm rooting for Boston. My heart tells me not to give up on the Celtics, but with them having to win 3 straight, 2 in Miami, this series is over.

the heat create alot of matchup problems
