2 Wins on the road against the David Sterns Fakers, Doesnt look good for all that money from those stars in Hollywood. Better shoot 40+ free throws next game fakers!

I see a suspension coming on for Artest for his little stunt at the end of the game tonight

I doubt it, Maybe a fine. IF it would be someone from another team then yes a suspension. But he def deserves one.

Man Wildcatk looks like the laker guys are no shows on here tonight lol

32 second half points for the Lakers, who shot only 10 percent from beyond the arc tonight.

Well at least we got a moral victory from Ron tonight. I loved it, but he deserves to be suspended.

Mike Greenberg of Mike and Mike in the Morning says the Lakers are done. Said after what Bynum said after there loss last night that put the icing on the cake that the Lakers are done!

It looks to me like Kobe is quitting on the Lakers........
05-05-2011, 09:50 AM
.... God knows the rest of the Lakers have already quit

I love this! I just hope they don't come back and win this series...if they do people won't shut up about how great they are.

That is the absolute truth. But I for one want them to win out and get to the Finals. If the Heat get there, I want no excuses from Lakers fans!

Kobe's age is starting to show more and more. I do believe he is quitting on them. In crunch time he can't just be 1-5, he needs the ball every play. But I've said all year, lakers aren't the same lakers as they were last year.

I really didn't think the Mavs would win game 2...
There's only two teams in the NBA i hate and it's the Mavs and Lakers....
Lakers will win game 3...

I would love for the Lakers to take it to a game 7 at Staples, then get beat by 40.
That way everyone would sing their praises and talk of their resiliency just to watch them melt down. :flame:

Im one of the biggest Laker fans on this site but let me be the first to say this game sickened me. I cussed, yelled, threw my remote control even. There is no excuse for losing 2 home games to start the series. I have never seen this happen to the Lakers and im still looking forward to how they respond in the next 2. If they dont take the next 2 they are in trouble. I told my friends before the playoffs started I was more worried about Dallas then OKC, looks like I was right to be worried. I NEVER dreamed of this happening though. Complete shock and frustration from me today. And I imagine my friends are only going to make it worse, but my last comment though is Kobe would NEVER quit on any team. Not even one consisting of scrubs like Walton and Kwame Brown. He just isn't a quitter. And as for Rons tech, the guy is like 5'5! He didnt mean to hit him in the face, he even tried holding him up. I agree with throwing him out of the game, but suspending him for game 3 isnt necessary.

Lakers were 2-20 from 3pt Range. That won't get it done. Why didn't Joe Smith, Luke Walton & Trey Johnson play last night?
05-05-2011, 03:32 PM
^ Why, do you think they would have got to shoot????

Nobody knows whats going on in his mind, but IMO he did mean to harm that guy. It was uncalled for and he honestly deserves to be suspended.
But people saying that Kobe is quitting is ridiculous. This is Kobe freaking Bryant, he has a drive and a will that only MJ can outmatch.
The Lakers are just tired. They have been to three straight finals, and many of them play ball for their countries or their affiliations in the summer. These guys play ball basically year round, if they don't win it this year, that would be why.

If you was Phil Jackson would you seriously play those guys? lmbo.

They're by no means out, i see them winning game 3, losing game 4 and taking the game 6 & 7. The Lakers are still the Lakers regardless of how they played the last two games. The Lakers never go down easy or without a fight. Expect a game 7 in the one. It could go either way but I'm still taking my Lakers because of experience and size...and they're my favorite team. GO LAKERS!

Oh no... The Lakers are 0-2 to Dallas...
But Stardust "The Lakers will be just fine"... Just like in the regular season right?

I put Ron Artest in the same catgory as Rasheed Wallace, Dennis Rodman and any other players like them......A disgrace to the game.
