Did everyone like what their team got in draft?

Did everyone like what their team got in the 2011 draft?

What was your teams best/worst picks? and WHY?

My Colts got:

Round 1 - OL - Anthony Castonzo (Boston College)

Round 2 - OL - Ben Ijalana (Villanova)

Round 3 - DL - Drake Nevis (LSU)

Round 4 - RB - Delone Carter (Syracuse)

Round 6 - DB - Chris Rucker (Michigan St.)

Colts had an OK draft to me..

best pick - OL Anthony Castonzo -- Manning can't get hit like last year.

worst pick - OL Ben ljalana -- Ingram was there and just drafted an OL.

Strikeout King will post the Houston Texans soon, I'm sure. I do not know many of the players they took, but they drafted LOTS of defense and they have a great defensive coordinator. In that case, I would give it a B.

They have drafted well in the past, so that is why I give it a B.

To be honest, I have never even heard of the players that Mine and LWC's Texans Took
#4
The only one I've heard of is Yates

Houston Texans

1 - J.J. Watt DE Wisconsin

2 - Brooks Reed DE Arizona

2 - Brandon Harris CB Miami (FL)

4 - Rashad Carmichael CB Virginia Tech

5 - Shiloh Keo S Idaho

5 - T.J. Yates QB North Carolina

7 - Derek Newton OT Arkansas State

7 - Cheta Ozougwu DE Rice

Tennessee Titans

Jake Locker (Washington)
Akeem Ayers (UCLA)
Jurrell Casey USC)
Colin McCarthy (Miami)
Karl Klug (Iowa)
Jamie Harper (Clemson)
Bryon Stringily (Louisville)
Zach Clayton (Aurburn)
Tommie Campbell

Best Pick---Jake Locker. (Glad Kerry Collins wont be back under center)

Steal Pick--Jurell Casey in the 3rd, as DT was a big need in this draft

Worst Pick--I dont know if he was a bad pick, but Harper I dont really understand that pick, I would have rather had Jordan Todman who was still there and could been that 3rd down back.

Texans had a very good draft IMO.

Ingram wasn't there when they picked Ijalana. But I'll agree that that pick didn't make much sense to me. I thought they should have addressed the need for a CB in the second. Castonzo was a great pickup. I'm actually surprised he fell that far. I thought he was the best OL in the draft and probably should have went earlier. I really wish they would have grabbed a quality LB and FB.

I don't even know who they are except for Yates. I couldn't tell you how good they are or were in college

Patriots
1st Round – Nate Solder, OT, Colorado
2nd Round – Ras-I Dowling, DB, Virginia
2nd Round – Shane Vereen, RB, Cal
3rd Round – Stevan Ridley, RB, LSU
3rd Round – Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas
5th Round – Marcus Cannon, OL, TCU
5th Round – Lee Smith, TE, Marshall
6th Round – Markell Carter, OLB, Central Arkansas
7th Round – #219 (OAK)

Picks traded away:
3rd Round (OAK – 2012 2nd)
4th Round (Oak – 2012 2nd)
4th Round (SEA – Deion Branch) (via DEN (Maroney) if higher than NE pick)
6th Round (DEN – Laurence Maroney)
7th Round (ATL – Quinn Ojinnaka)

I was really wanting the Pats to draft a receiver!
I like the Mallett pick though. In case Brady gets injured again, I feel like he can feel in nicely and imo he has potential to be a starter one day.

Locker is a big risk. IMO, he's going to be very productive or a bust, no in between.

Texans got 2 very good CB (Harris, Carmichael)... JJ Watt was a great pick too.

Bears:

Gabe Carimi - OL (Wisconsin)

Stephen Paea - DT (Oregon St.)

Chris Conte - DB (Cal)

Nathan Enderle - QB (Idaho)

James Thomas - LB (West Virginia)

Bears only had one good pick - Gabe Carimi

Bowers is great but where would he fit in? We already have Mathis and Freeney. A guy that good can't sit the bench.

I'm pretty satisfied with Stefen Wisniewski, especially nice considered his uncle is on the Oakland coaching staff.

Otherwise, I thought it was pretty "meh".

New Orleans Saints

Pick No. 1 (24th overall), DE Cameron Jordan, California
Pick No. 2 (28th overall), RB Mark Ingram, Alabama
Pick, No. 3 (72nd overall), LB Martez Wilson, Illinois
Pick, No. 4 (88th overall), CB Johnny Patrick, Louisville
Pick, No. 5 (226th overall), DE Greg Romeus, Pittsburgh
Pick, No. 6 (243rd overall), LB Nate Bussey, Illinois

I think they took a good RB to possibly take the place of Bush.

They went defense strong but they need to look into some obvious spots that need filled. No reliable back up for Brees. With Sharper getting very old and I'm not sure he will be back they have a need for a SS as well.

Granted defense wins championships and Greg Williams is a defensive NUT. You have to be able to produce some offense as well.

As long as Drew Brees is walking, he could throw to Donald Trump and score. The offense will be fine, as long as Ingram or one of the other backs can run well.

I think getting rid of Bush would be a huge mistake. With Ingram and Bush, they have the perfect thunder and lightning backfield duo. Ingram will be the tough, bruising back that will grind it out and will be reliable in short yardage situations while Bush is that do-it-all guy that could go the distance on any given play.

A lot of guys on ESPN were second guessing taking Wisniewski so early. I guess the reason is pretty obvious.

I agree that Bush would be a good weapon to have but in order to justify keeping him with the backs that they have now in Ingram, Ivory and Thomas they are going to have to renegotiate his contract way down. He's not producing enough in my opinion to justify the 11+ million he is due for the 2011 season.

I definitely agree. But will he be willing to renegotiate his contact? Most of his production is coming from ST.

I have read on some other sporting news sights that Bush really likes New Orleans and would likely take a pay cut to stay there. That's good news if it's true.

I think the Pats had a great draft and really got a steal with Marcus Cannon!!

Their last pick of the draft was Malcolm Williams, DB, TCU

I could agree with that. Locker has the potential to be a great NFL QB. He really struggles with accuracy in the pocket but on play action rolling out of the pocket, he was one of the best in college football. Hopefully, the new coaching staff can develop him into a NFL QB.

One thing my SKINS needed was a QB and they drafted...ZERO. I just don't understand.
