If the new deadline is made official, college players will be forced to withdraw from the draft in mid-April rather than mid-May. In other words, the evaluation period that is already ridiculously short (considering the kids are making a life-altering decision) will be shortened even more.

Shouldn't have moved the deadline. Now kids are gonna have to be making decisions DURING the season. Bad move.

maybe there wanting kids to stay longer in school, just beating around the bush, and dont want to come out and say it.
