I can't believe Danny Granger said he'd rather play the Bulls then the Celtics. He'll eat those word. Mark it down!!

Unless I am mistaken, the Lakers are fighting for the 2 seed. The Spurs have the top seed clinched, which is why they left Parker, Ginobli, and Duncan on the bench last night.

^ That is correct

^Yup.. Too bad LA wont make it to play them

Its really not going to matter which one they play. Pacers are taking it home! Well there bags after 5 games anyways.

LOL...
Celtics aren't getting by the Knicks..
Lakers MIGHT get out of the West.. I highly doubt it..
And if they do manage that somehow or another, they lose in the finals..
No 3-peat.. Kobe retires next season..

LOL, stop and think before you post. Kobe is just 32, he's got many more good years left.
And nobody saw the Celtics getting to the finals last year, but they flipped the switch and did easily.
Lakers are a lock to get out of the West, Spurs/Mavs can't beat them in a 7 game series. Thunder is the only team that as a chance.

Is Kobe's knee a lock too?
What about his old mates'? They going to be able to pack their own weight?
The truth is, LA is a small fish in big waters now... Kobe's clock is ticking...
BTW, question for you.. When was the last time he dunked on someone? Years ago? Dunk on Dwight Howard... Highlight of his life... Guy will never get another ring with all the big dogs barking in the East.. Sorry.
The idea that the Celtics are coming out of the East is dumb... They have no big men cept' Jermaine.. Perkins is no longer around and S. Oneal is out... Give me a break with that crap..

^ You must have missed the memo.
Shaq is good to go for Game 1
Shaq is good to go for Game 1

Yes, it's a lock. Who cares the last time he's dunked over someone. He's averaging 25 a game, he's doing just fine.
Like I said, nobody thought the Celtics would last year, and they dominated everybody, including your boy Lechoke.

As a Kings fan, I hate to be the voice of reason, but the Lakers are a contender. They are not as heavily favored as they were the year before, but they have as good a chance as anyone.
This is the first season in a long time, that I could see more than 3 teams with a chance to win it all. Could be a good playoffs this season.

Ah yes. It's here! The only time of year that professional basketball is worth watching.

If the Lakers lose to the Kings and Mavericks beat the Hornets then the Mavericks will have the 2 seed and the Lakers will get the 3 seed. if the Lakers win and Mavericks lose then Lakers will have the 2 seed and Mavericks the 3 seed

with the Spurs loss to the Suns tonight, The Bulls have the Top Seed going into the playoffs and have home court advantage throughout the playoffs and if the Bulls and Spurs were to meet in the Finals the Bulls would have home court advantage

My playoff predictions:
West:
(1)Spurs vs (8)Grizzlies - Spurs experience will simply overwhelm the young Grizzlies: Spurs in 4
(4)Thunder vs (5)Nuggets - Great match-up, however, OKC has 2 superstars, Denver has 0: Thunder in 6
(3)Mavericks vs (6)Trail Blazers - The playoff losing history will haunt the Mavericks as this series goes on. Best series of the first round: Blazers in 7
(2)Lakers vs (7)Hornets - I love Chris Paul, but the Lakers will simply dominate this series: Lakers in 4
(1)Spurs vs (4)Thunder - Spurs can shut down either Westbrook or Durant. However, they cannot shut both of them down at the same time: Thunder in 6
(2)Lakers vs (6)Trail Blazers - A healthy Bynum could really help here. Kobe steps up in the playoffs, and this will be one of those close series the Lakers always seem to win: Lakers in 7
(2)Lakers vs (4)Thunder - The series Thunder fans have desired since that Game 6 loss last season. Kendrick Perkins will also have a chip on his shoulder in this series(as if he doesn't usually have one already) after he couldn't play in the Game 7 of the Finals last season. One last time, Kobe turns it on when the pressure is at it's highest: Lakers in 7
East:
(1)Bulls vs (8)Pacers - No contest here, even though the Pacers have some good players: Bulls in 4
(4)Magic vs (5)Hawks - The Hawks fold under the playoff pressure: Magic in 5
(3)Celtics vs (6)Knicks - Celtics have looked awful since the Perkins trade. However, the Celtics will find a way to win this series: Celtics in 6
(2)Heat vs (7)Sixers - No contest here: Heat in 4
(1)Bulls vs (4)Magic - Howard's foul trouble will tell the tale in this series: Bulls in 6
(2)Heat vs (3)Celtics - Oh how things have changed since November: Heat in 5
(1)Bulls vs (2)Heat - Great match-up here, two fantastic defenses. The two best players in the regular season, Rose and James, will make this series a classic. The Bulls' interior depth makes the difference: Bulls in 7
(1)Bulls vs (2)Lakers - Phil Jackson goes for his fourth 3-peat against the team with which he earned two of them. The Boozer-Gasol match-up will be the one to watch. Kobe simply will find a way one last time, to get number six: Lakers in 6
Feel free to disagree.

So you have the Lakers winning three straight game 7s? Not disagreeing but that is interesting.

They have done similar things before.
