Reds had the lead but couldn't hold it.
If the Reds get out to a Big Lead and can't hold it, it's gonna be a long season for the Redlegs
WP - A. Heilman (1-0)
LP - N. Masset (-2)
S - J.J. Putz (3)
Home Runs:
Reds (1) - J. Gomes 1, (2, 2-Run)
Diamondbacks (2) - C. Young 1 (2, 3-Run), B. Roberts 1 (2, 3-Run)
M. Leake (Cin) 4.2 IP, 9 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 2 BB, 4 SO, 1 HR
J. Saunders (Ariz) 3.0 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 5 BB, 1 SO, 0 HR

I agree! Jay Bruce is killing me. If he would ever just become consistent at the plate. (Besides consistent at Ks)

âRelax, all right? Donât try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, theyâre fascist. Throw some ground balls â itâs more democratic.â

Well at least the bats were still alive, the pitching was totally the backbreaker in this game.
But it happens.
It doesn't get any easier, Mat Latos is coming off the DL tomorrow and will face the Reds and he's tough.

The Reds pitching just couldn't hold the DB's down the stretch.
