These games were a joke. A floor of one on ones. Not many passes. Skaggs shot the ball everytime he got it. Easy to score a lot when you shot it all the time. I saw three really good players there in the boys games. One kid from Butler that could shoot from anywhere, a big kid from Allen Central that played hard the whole time and was a hand full down low, and the big kid from Rowan. He was the best there, no one could stop him from scoring. Overall, a waste of time.

I agree the games were a joke too. I got tired of watching kids like the Scaggs kid shoot everytime, and still LOST the game. They need to just make a bunch of 1 on 1 games to 24. I did see a few kids playing hard and playing team ball, like the Wing kid. Some of the kids did not even belong in a all-star game of any caliber.

âRelax, all right? Donât try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, theyâre fascist. Throw some ground balls â itâs more democratic.â

He may not have been from Allen Central. He changed teams. He was wearing Allen Central Color uniform and it said Rebels. Big, stocky guy with longer blond hair. He played the game before the last boys game. A huge hand full.

As a coach and you know what your looking for the two best kids I saw was the kid from Butler and the younger kid from Fairdale.. I was surprised when I found out they were just sophomores they looked good for such a small amount of clock. The only boys game I watched was the 3:00 game was there for the girls games...

Skaggs shooting the ball alot?? isnt that what shooters do? Im lost here by the comments of the uneducated i see... the complaints about "team ball" lets remember that it is an allstar game, which usually means these kids have not practiced together, how could one develop a standard team ball play? the game was decided on 2 points. was the winning team not playing team ball either?
