Final from the 9th Annual Lyndel Potter Memorial Tournament in Pikeville. Rowan will now play Pikeville to decide the champion of Pool A. The winner will play in the Championship vs. The winner of Pool B (Raceland, East Ridge, Magoffin, Jenkins)

Tournament had to be canceled due to rain. Rowan and Pikeville both finish with 2-0 records.

Jenkins was playing with only 3 upper classman and got their bats going late in the game with excellent fielding and pitching by senior Alexis Watts. The Lady Cavaliers were leading 5-1 with the bases loaded and only 1 out in the sixth inning when the skies opened up and the officials called all the games and because Raceland was leading 1-0 after the previous inning the victory was given to Raceland. The Cavaliers were on their way to a mercy rule in six against Raceland and Raceland coaches were running to their vehicles to get away with a tainted 1-0 victory because they were getting their tails kicked. Congratulations lady cavaliers on an impressive game.
