mountain hoops guru Wrote:Hate to hear Noble went down, hope it's not too serious! Would of definitely changed the game if she is in their no matter what anyone says. The team played well without her and still showed whether they had her or not they still deserved to be their and would of still been by far the best team in the region. Lookout next year, should be another year of the Lady Commodores looking to win the whole thing.

Even the Orange and Blue "Volleyball's" dynasty has only one 1 match in 9 years of state tourneys, and he is talking trash, give me a break!

I guess that doesn't say much about the rest of the region in regards to volleyball. As for the Lady Commodores to win it next year, another thunderstorm of raining players needs to take place over Wal-Mart. Back to the game, Noble and Bowen, different uniforms, same results.

Great effort by these young ladies. They played their hearts out and almost pulled it out at the end. This team could have easily laid down when Noble went out but they did not and gave themselves a chance to win. I do think that if Noble stays healthy in this game the results would have been different but we cannot change what happened. Congrats to PCC on a great season!

Heartbreaking end to a great season by the Lady Commodores. Hope Kendall recovers fully and speedily. In all honesty, with the addition of Noble for the entire game the Lady Commodores would be getting ready for the next round.

And good luck to Butler for the rest of the tournament!

I really hated to see Noble go down like that, she is a great ball player and kid. Wish her the best from a Hazard bulldog. BUT it seems ever year Randy gets players from other schools something like this happens. I'm not trying to say anything bad, because I hate to see kids get hurt. Just maybe a little "karma" there. I really hope Noble is OK, she is a D-1 player....

Tough loss for the Commodores, I hate to see anyone go down with an injury esspeically a player like Noble. Good season for PCC, nothing to have your heads down. Butler is one of the favorites to win. Congrats Butler.

I heard it was a torn ACL....
nothing confirmed

if knott county wasn't able to get half their roster to tansfer from JBS, they might have won 5 games this year Confusedhh:

your amaze me more and more every time i read a post from you. i guess you don't have much time on yours hands to post on the boys threads now huh? if noble hadn't got hurt, of course they win this game. they nearly still won without her.

As far as making a positive out of a negative, if this is what happened, she has plenty of time to have surgery and heal before next season. There has been an exceptional amount of ACL's in the 14th region this year with girls and boys.

Any news on Noble. I pray it's not bad. If it is i hope she has a speedy recovery.

I got to watch this game on KHSAA web-site and it was such a good game. When Noble went out I figured Perry would not be able to replace her scoring, but I was wrong. Alyssa Pratt (Senior) played the best game she has ever played. Had 11 points and at least 6 steals, 2 big 3's that brought them within 1 point. Randy came up with a great play that had Kayla wide open for a lay-up to send the game into OT but she couldn't make it. For those that didn't get to watch the game you can still visit khsaa.org and watch every game played so far

Congrats to Bowen and Pratt for outstanding careers. Bowen came from Breathitt and Pratt came from Cordia both to win a regional title and a state title, sorry that didn't get to work out for them. I wish these girls the best and hope they have outstanding futures

Any news on Noble?

Torn ACL. Out 4 to 6 months. Just what I have heard from good sources. Hope she has a great rehab. Good luck Kendall.
