Bowling Green 58, Walton-Verona 32, final: No. 4 Lady Purples will face the Manual-Crittenden County winner in Friday’s 1 p.m. EST quarterfinal. Alexis Lawrence led the Lady Purples (25-1) with 23 points. Kara Taulbee had 12 points to lead Walton-Verona (25-9), which was making its first Sweet 16 appearance.
