Sitting the bench wouldn't be so bad if they (UK) were paying for it .

At the beginning of the process, he was told he'd be either a tight end or blocking back. But at the signing they told him they were leaning more toward a blocking back. He was excited to play anywhere, and has WANTED to attend Georgetown from the beginning. He met his goal, and never believe it when someone says you can't get a full ride to Georgetown.....! (because you can!) hock:

I also think Robert could have done wonders at Pikeville College, joining the best recruiting class in the mid south conference this year.
If you are going to play in the Mid South Conference, why not play at home and join a recruiting class that will battle G-Town in a year or two if not next year?

Congratulations Robert, and good luck at Gtown, but he should have went to pikeville..................Has Sullivan signed with pikveille yet?

He got a FULL RIDE. Call 'em and ask.

So, you're saying you can't get a full ride to Georgetown, but how are all these area guys getting full rides to Pikeville College? Ask them, Josh already has it in writing that he gets a full ride to Pikeville if he signs with them. Robert DOES have a full ride, with his great academics, and ability on the football field, Georgetown worked up a package that is A FULL RIDE...
02-21-2005, 11:20 PM
yea ManChildJr. is right...
02-21-2005, 11:22 PM
I wouldn't go so far as to say that Pikeville got the BEST athletic class in the midsouth conference. Yea, they're great, but do you even know who all the others got?! Alot of the Beechwood, Newport, Covington area kids are going to Gtown. To say that Pikeville got THE BEST is stretching it just a touch, don't you think?
02-21-2005, 11:47 PM
Pikeville did get an incredible class coming in...but have we actually seen who all every other team in the midsouth conference is brining in
i know i havent so we really dont have a way to compare
also you know g-town is going to bring in as much talent as pikeville is...if not more

No...manchild jr......spxdad is correct....Robert didn't get a full athletic ride to Georgetown....yes he did get a full ride...but he got a lot of academic money to go along with it....
He Got a full ride but it all wasn't from football.
