who might you think will step up for the Panther football team this upcoming season that is a sophmore or freshman?
02-09-2005, 12:45 AM
The Honakers twins. Quick, strong, athletic. They can play most positions on the field. I look for both to start somewhere.

From what I saw in practice, people need to look out for Justin Walker. I know that many can be fooled by his small size, but he can hit pretty hard for a small guy. He plays with alot of heart to.
It is obvious though that the best freshman are Tim and Ted.

yes, tim and ted are by far the best freshman, but there are alot of other people that have the heart to step up.

I see many people that will be stepping up on JV and Varsity such as the Following: Tim, Ted, Walker, Ritchie, Sands, Gillespie, Elliot, Reed thats sophmores and freshman i dont think there will be any that will be able to fill any big shoes such as sully on varsity, bryant on JV, carter on JV, and Mayo on JV.

I wonder why McCoy's name wasnt mentioned?
02-09-2005, 03:53 PM
Forget about McCoy what about Tibbs...HE IS HUGE........he will make some noise on d line trust me
02-09-2005, 09:55 PM
this is all true

Those two for sure it was just in the spare of time when i was listing i would have both of them in my top ten any day.

Please inform us on why the sudden harshness towards McCoy who I believe could be a good player. He would have a bigger impact than alot of players from the first quote, Sands? Reed? come on
The Honakers, Gillespie, Walker, and maybe Ritchie will be the only ones I see making any significant difference. The others could suprise me but from what Ive seen, I can really only picture the one's I just mentioned making a difference.

Does anyone know what position Ritchie plays? I know what most of the younger peoples positions are but I dont know his. I thought he would have an impact because he was athletic. He could make a good reciever.
02-10-2005, 12:32 AM
At the beginning of the season Ritchie started out as a reciever...but after the freshman game that he played RB in coach mac decided to move him with the RB's but he could play either position well if he tries a lot harder this year than last...
Also on defense he saw time in jv and some varsity at corner back and safety
He plays all the sports so he is somewhat athletic

Elliot and Sands? As big as Elliot is, i think he could do alot more than what he dose.... Sands is a good player, but he has a huge ego...
They're both good on a freshman sophmore level, but i dont see ethier of them stepping up this year

very well put PB42
this is soo very true
Elliot need to work on the weights and take care of those knees
Sands need to shrink that big head hes getting now lol althought i have seen a lot of improvement out of him
but neither will probably make a big impact to the team

Sands ego is big is an understatement. Im suprised he is floating from all the hot air in his head. Could he be good? Maybe if he works hard at it and loses this attitude of his.

I agree Mccoy will be as good as he wants to be...not afraid of anyone!
Ritchie really needs to gain some weight whether it be through eating more or lifting more he needs to gain sme weight and maybe grow a couple of inches...but same here as it was for Mccoy...Ritchie is only as good as he wants to be...he has to have the will power to get out there and give it his all...just like his old days of playing football
I see Gillespie getting a lot strong and coming out and giving all the lineman everythign hes got
Look out for young talent on the rise!
