I Don't know the final score yet but i received word that the Lady Pirates have Knocked off the Lady Patriots! Powell Won On A Game Winning Shot

Powell's only lead was the game winning shot.

Very sloppy passing and ball handling. Don't know how many layups were missed by Knott. They let #23 for Powell do whatever she wanted. IDK why the coaching staff never made adjustments for her. Then they throw the ball away with 6 seconds with a 1 point lead, Powell gets it in, #23 shoots a layup, Pirates win. Absolutely embarrassing on the highest degree. 2nd best team in region gets beat by Powell Co.

Might as well give Perry they championship now, the only team capable of giving them a challenge just got beat. I bet Randy Napier is one happy fellow.
What a let down the tourney will be. That's what happens when you don't finish and only score about 2 points in one quarter.

we all know that PCC is gonna win the Region but you actually think that Leslie County couldn't give PCC A challenge? Leslie defeated KCC Twice during the Regular season, But PCC Also beat Leslie twice during the regular season

Both by double digits, one, if not both, by more than 20. KCC never played them, and beat them by 17 last year before the addition of the all stars. It would have been a good game, better than what most people would think. Oh well, guess we'll never know.

Uh if I am not mistaken Leslie County has to get past Powell County first to be able to play PCC...Powell may be young but they are full of surprises and last night proved it! Good Job Lady Pirates and Good Luck Friday night!!

This game was over at halftime, Knott was up 37-22 and they should of coasted to a win. This was a major meltdown by the Lady Patriots and their coaches. Why in the world would you not change up your defense and guard someone or not even let her touch the ball if she is killing you. Just don't understand. Knott missed who knows how many free throws? Can't win tournament games if you don't make free throws. Going to be a long summer for the Lady Patriots, really thought they had a chance to get to the finals, very disappointing for them I'm sure.

Was listening on radio and KCC was up 15...thought game was over. Boy was I wrong! Saw highlights on WYMT and was shocked to find out the result. Congrats to Powell on comeback!

I was tuning in back and fourth the entire game cause I was so nervous wanting the Lady Patriots to win. Just from listening in the last 2 minutes I never heard one time when Paige Slone touched the ball. Never could figure out why if she was in the game why she wasn't touching the ball. I can't say that it was the coaching staff that choaked but just from listening to the radio Reagan King was the one a choacking. I am willing to bet that her alone had 5+ turnovers in the 4th. Late in the game if she could of just held on to the ball or found the open man they would of been shooting free throws. If Paige was in the game how come whoever was throwing the ball in didn't try to give it to her.

Don't point fingers at any of the girls when you weren't at the game to see what happened. Reagan did have turnovers as did others. There was more than the last few minutes of the game that cost them the win. They missed at least 10 layups in the 3rd qtr that would have put the game out of reach. It was a team loss, PERIOD.
