what do the Maroons need to do to improve from last year's 11-2 team, which made it to the 3rd Round of the playoffs?

I think they take a step back this year. They lost alot of weapons, and the run they are on just cant last with the loss they will endure athlete wise.

I think they will be alright, not as good as the last two years but I still expect them to put a competitive team on the field. I think they drop the first two and the last two and get a home playoff game but probably not a whole lot more.

theres gonna be alot of people suprised. yeah we lost alot of seniors and everyone expects us to be down. guess you will just have to wait and see

New district.......But...I expect the same results for the Maroons and their rival's from across town (SW). The game between the two will decide the district champion as it has year in and year out the last several seasons.

Once again, the district will come down to PC and Southwestern. However, I think the Warriors will finally beat the Maroons this season.

I wish them the best in this rebuilding season but I see a 5-5 or 6-4 record here. Not bad for all that was lost but it is a rebuilding season. Best wishes on an injury-free season.

yeah i agree. it will come down to pc and sw. sw is not goona be easy to beat thats for sure. i think our only weakness is at the quarterback position but other than that we have most of our line back and we got some athletes who can run the ball and catch. Jackson and hall are gonna be two key players as there getting stronger and faster on the off season. jacksons gonna be a great safety this year. i expect great things from him

I like Ty Jack too...Maroons need to get some balls to him at WR too IMO. Maroons lose a lot but return a good, if not star studded core of players. If they have to go really young this year to build for the future, then I say go for it. Next four seasons will be the best chance that PC has ever had to make the State Finals...the eastern half goes through Harlan County but if the Maroons can get past them in the next 4 years there is no reason that they can't make the state finals.

This district makes me nervous! Sw is SW, and PC hopefully can reload. Madison Southern is a mystery to us all... New coach, not from KY and no one knows him. Talking to some friends in Richmond, they had a good spring with alot of kids.. seems to be alot of buzz about the program. So who knows with them, they cant get any worse then they have been thats for sure.
North Laurel will be much better and will have alot more #s then anyone in the district. Lincoln is always tough but they should be very quick this year and be better. I dont know much about South but they surely will be better then last year.
It could very easy go to PC or SW, but it wouldnt surprise me to see either of these (2) teams not come to play one night and turn this district upside down.
That being said...LETS PLAY SOME BALL!

I think PC will surprise a lot of people this season. I know they lost a bunch of talented seniors, but that program has risen to a level that is pretty impressive over the last 7 or 8 years. Look for PC to be a big surprise in the district and compete for their third crown in a row.

Should be intreresting to see who steps up on this years team!! I think that the Maroons will be down just a little this year but, I still expect them to win the district again!! Go Maroons!!
