Does anyone have any idea who they are interested in hiring?
Does anyone know who has applied?
What stage of the process are they currently in?
Anything else about this job?
I personally think Webster Co could be a good gig. I know you have to deal with Paducah Tilghman and Fort Campbell each year, but it has been proven in the past that Webster Co can be a successful program with the right coach. Scott Willard proved that!!!

And Trigg County. They years they had success, they didn't have to deal with Tilghman, Trigg and Fort Campbell in the district. Then again, they might have had Trigg and Fort Campbell, but FC wasn't the FC then as they are now.
From the horror stories you hear about their lack of administrative support, coupled with the fact that athletically and numbers they are way behind the 8ball when compared to their other district opponents, I'm not sure Chuck Smith, Dale Mueller, Joe Morris, Dudley or Philip Haywood could work that miracle, or close.

The program is run on a shoestring and it has had little success in recent years. Facilities are marginal at best. I believe Webster County is the system which only goes to class four days a week to save money. But -- their players compete hard and they are not afraid or reluctant to hit. They do not quit. Webster was a field goal away from winning four games last year and they put up 21 points on Tilghman. Realignment will not help them next year.

I hear that Webster Co had a meeting this week with Brock Shoulders about the head coaching position. I also hear Brock has decided to stay in his current position.
Who does Webster go after now?
Anybody heard who has applied?
Who are the leaders for the job?
