Pike Central 63- Belfry 62

One of the best ball games I've seen. Hobo McCoy is a great ball player. Pike Central won this one with a late run in the 4th quarter.

I believe Hobo had 41 tonight. He had 17 in the last 2 min of the 4th.
Way to play bub. I would also like to mention that Blake Clark hit some big shots for the Hawks as well.

If you missed this game Pike Central was down 12 with 2 minutes left in the 4th. After that Hobo just went off, and Pike Central was down 3 with 11 seconds left. Belfry fouls and sends Hobo to line to make the score 61-60 with 7 ticks left. Pike Central picks up a foul on Jordan Varney sends him to line. Varney misses the first and makes the second. 62-60 Pike Central gets the ball back gives to Hobo and he drives all the down the court hits the jumper and gets a chance for a 3 point play. He hits it and Pike Central wins it 63-62. Great ball game

I was ready to leave with 2 min left in the game, but something told me to stay.

I am glad I did.

That's why you got to love sports you never know what is going to happen. You especially have to love high school sports these kids pour their hearts and souls into it for nights like tonight.

Is Hobo's last name McCoy or Christ? Good lord the kid is amazing. Nothing but big ups to Central. Great game. Congrats to everyone involved and a small shout to the BHS Cheerleaders, they won district and get their picture forever on the gym walls. First ones to get it in about 8 years.

Belfry shouldn't really feel all that bad, I mean they had a huge lead with not much time left.

I had my doubts that PC could come back, but man Hobo McCoy was just flatout amazing last night.

He alone came back and defeated Belfry.

This was unreal. Hobo has to feel like a rockstar, leading your team back in the 4th quarter down 12 with 2 minutes to go to win the district championship with you college coaches watching from above the court. What more could an 18 year old eastern ky kid ask for? Throw in it was against Belfry, Pike Centrals most hated foe!

WOW really IMO thats really suprising I have always been impressed with their squad. Congrats to them.

Sounds like a great game wish I could have been there. Did Pike Central just step up the pressure in the final two minutes or did Belfry fold under the pressure? Games like this make great teams and show how great players are. Hobo is one of the best ive seen in a while at creating shots for him self. Good luck to both teams at regionals should be an interesting draw.

The biggest reason Belfry lost was their coach. Why would he remove key players the entire last fourth quarter? Why does he keep one player who only plays me ball in and turns it over the entire ballgame playing? It's too late now, but Randy Casey can thank his very own self for this disaster. Your up what 14 points beginning of fourth you remove key players and you loose the game by 1. Hobo is unstopable, yet Belfry had managed some what up to this point. Belfry, once again out coached. Congrats to Pike Central, Hobo is awesome.

Legacy1 you make it seem as if he removed key players i would love to know who you speaking of because he had all of his key players in the game the 4th quarter.untill two fouled out.
