Hornet power, that is exactly what j rod said.
REGULAR SEASON DISTRiCT CHAMPS not post season champs.
That is exactly what the #1 seed means.

Doesn't mean anything, they will more than likely get beat by Belfry in the district putting them in the losers side of the bracket to get beat out of the regional tournament in the first round.

Hobo has improved a lot .He stay at Dave's gym all summer.

Bold prediction. lol. I think they will take the district.

Not so fast guys...

Does anyone know what's going on with the ongoing investigation? If the two players (Do not name names!) are ruled ineligible, the basketball games as well as the football games they've played in will all have to be forfeited.

So your saying you guys are getting beat by Belfry for sure in the 1st round of district?

Nice attitude to have.

Anyway, didn't make it to the game but must say I'm a little shocked by the score.

congrats to PC

Well if they have players they're not supposed to, then they didn't win it. I think if they're going to rule they need to do it quickly. It's not fair to Phelps!

In reality if it was going to get ruled on it would have by now.
#16
No because they have to take the time and really look into these things. You have to look at it at the standpoint of Phelps' seniors...

Here you go again. Why don't you worry about Belfry? I will remind you again that everything has not been on the up and up on Pond Creek. And to complain that something is not fair, get real. Don't be pointing fingers at things you know nothing about, ok.
#18
Every body has been declaired eligible to play for pike central until KHSAA makes their decision and then the people in question will not be able to play if they are declaired ineligible but all will stand as is no games will change

Back off me... I asked a question! Never did I say the Hawks were guilty or anything like that, simply asked a question and stated my opinion that IF THEY ARE then it should be ruled quicker to be fair to Phelps.

Go back to some of your earlier post, (Pike Central vs Hazard) and you may understand the attitude.:dontthink

Isn't it obvious to you that at some point these boys had to be ruled eligible to play basketball. Afterall, you know a homeless kid can go to school anywhere they want and get an extra year of playing time. I hope that you're comprehending.

Tell me once where I casted judgment on someone.

They could have been given an injunction the same way they were during football and been told the risk that if the ruling is made they lose the wins? and I'm pretty sure the kids aren't homeless so I don't get your point?

When it's part of our district it's our business. It's a question. Never once did I say anyone was guilty, I simply asked the question... and as far as the PC/Hazard thread, It's a JOKE. Relax. My facebook status was "Take Me Home Country Roads" when Belfry beat Russell, I'm sure you understand the joke.

i think its funny how people just keep going on and on about this situation. i do believe that if the kids were to be ruled ineligible, or even if there were a high risk that they may be ruled ineligible then something would have been said by now. and who are these two players anyway? i think there is only one player that is at risk.

It's not that we're going on and on, but it is a decision that could effect the district tournament greatly. I hope the kids are not ruled eligible, as a matter of fact I am somewhat friends with one of them. I think that the KHSAA is keeping everything VERY hush hush with everyone involved. I was simply throwing out that possibility and I'm sorry to whoever I offended.

I heard there were two mister basketball. I think you know who the two are? If not I can PM you and we can talk privately.

Was this a typo or is this what you intended to say......These two players have been allowed to play by the KHSAA, not an injunction. I hope this puts your mind at rest for the district tournament. This is a fact not hear say.

I meant ARE ruled eligible.

"Belfry people" ... what are we our own race?

Not an attitude ,just simple facts.Phelps is down this year with only 1 senior.Only 1 player saw limited floor time last year.New coach with no varsity coaching experience. However the games I have watched this year the boys or the coach never give up which has almost always been the case @ Phelps, although we are small the kids always try their hardest. As the last several years is an example as they have gone to the regional tournament 4 years in a row.If I'm not mistaken they have knocked Pike Central out of it 3 of those 4 years.
I would like to see them beat Belfry but I don't see it happening,(too young) but the district is @ Phelps and it's a neutral floor for the championship and I see Randy Casey having them ready, either way the 60th teams will not go far,too many other teams better in the region JMO

True. The KHSAA ruled them eligible for basketball. If they are ruled ineligible in the future then the basketball games will stand. However, all football games they played in could be forfeited (because they participated in football after being ruled ineligible). A hearing took place last week and a ruling from the judge will take place before district tournament.
