Just curious, being at the expo last year watching them play the state champs, shelby valley, in a very intense game, had me thinking.

With Betsy layne starting off hot this year winning the all A and beating the top teams in the region, and winning a couple games in lexington. also being ranked possibly #1 in the region.

Vs.

Betsy Layne 09-10 season, finishing region runner up, losing to valley by 7, district champions, and a 20-7 record. and imo the best team in the region next to valley.

which is the better team? who would win it?

they gave valley their best game in the state. they really gave them a run for their money imo.

also they had a very deep bench. they played at least 8 players a game.

BL won 1 of 3 games in Lexington.

the team from 09-10 had better depth, more scoring threats, etc.

You have to go with the 09-10 Betsy Layne team. It's the same team except for Bryce Adkins and Jordan Newman....This is not a knock on this years team because they are a good team it's just the same people minus some threats that aren't there anymore.

This year's team has just as much depth as last year's team. The only problem is JR Newsome would only go 5 deep if it wasn't for foul trouble. That is the way he has always been! You will realize next year when one senior, one jr, one softmore and two freshman start for betsy layne and they are still one of the best teams in the region.

what depth do they have this year?? they play one player off the bench! i will admit dylan gives team a very big boost coming off the bench, hes a great player. but who else do they have? who is gonna match up with colt stumbo, adam howell, steven johnson and andrew roberts coming off the bench from 09-10?
