Pikeville 2011
#31
Haven't heard anything myself.

I see them staying content just as they always are. I don't think you all will see your great Pikeville teams again teams like that are rare this side of Lexington. I see 5 or 6 wins just depends on who their non district oppenents are.

Just putting my input in on the subject no need to flush me.

Lineman Gage Morrison, being a freshman this past season played up like a senior. Look for him to be a force on the line next season.

Maybe we should check the Park and Ride on the Mountain Parkway. I hear there are some great football players up there just waiting to be picked up. LOL!!:moon:

The Park and Ride connection is soon to be closed. And Hawk players and fans will have to suffer because of bad decisions of coaches and administrators.

How bout you all stick to worrying about your teams problems, and I will worry about mine. We might as well close all the connections in Pike County then. I'm not going to sit here and bicker with you all over non sense like this get back to talking about your teams season. It seems to me that everyone is too worried about what's going on up on the hill while you should be worried about how to win a ball game.

Just ruffled my feathers a bit. We can try to agree on something like attempting to take down Belfry. :biggrin:

Tuff job, that one.

Hints why I said attempting.

Too easy

In football, attempting has been the case the past ten yrs. or so, instead of gittnerdone.

Not what I was talking about, but ok.

Would like to see Gavin Miller come back out. With the talent he has, the team would certainly benefit from it.

Im just gonna say what I feel on this one. First I need to preface everything Im getting ready to say by saying this: I like Gavin Miller. Hes a good kid and a HECK of an athlete and I want him to play just like everyone else does. With that said. I want Gavin to come out and play ONLY if Gavin wants to come out and play. Let me explain this a little further. My brothers senior year ('09) this kid (who will remain nameless) came out who had a TON of talent and athletic ability but only lasted 6 games before he quit because he was afraid of getting hurt for the other sport he played. Which didnt really surprise anyone because in the 6 he did play in he played like he was scared of getting hurt. That didnt help him or the football team. So my point is that if Gavin wants to play this game the way it should be played then thats great and this team will only be better for it. But if Gavin isnt willing to give 100% or hes got ANYTHING on his mind besides playing FOOTBALL. Then IMO he and the football team will be better off if he doesnt play. Thats doesnt just go for Gavin. That goes for any other kid who takes that field.

Recruiting=Garbage
I'd say we should let the kids play ball, and quit worrying about where their coming from. Only if the great minds known as the KHSAA seen my point of view on things.
