This is the first thing i have smiled at all day Smile

Sean Payton never looked comfortable with the way things were going the whole game.
He just couldn't get anything going in his direction.
#4
Only team to ever have a losing record and win a playoff game.

The run by Lynch was among the top 2 or 3 runs I have ever seen in my entire life.

^Same here! Lynch was just a man among boys during that run. And when he threw that tackler threw the air with his left arm. I jumped out of my seat! And I don't even care about this game.

Lynch's run reminded me of something that Earl Campbell would have done.

Wow. Earl Campbell. The Tyler Rose. Memories.
Typical seven yard touchdown run by the "Tyler Rose"-
Campbells jersey would have been ripped off, his bent facemask would have been ripped halfway off of his helmet, and he'd have carried 8 people in the endzone. Which is why he can barely walk now, and what little he can walk, he does on a cane. That was one of the most somber sights Ive seen in quite some time a few years ago. Here comes Earl Campbell, at one time, THE most feared back in the NFL, a man who had legs the size of tree trunks, could run over 50 bulls to score a touchdown, and he walks out on the field on a cane, a terrible limp, and does so a careful step at a time. Its like a kid seeing his favorite superhero wearing a band-aid. Pitiful.

I am too young to have remembered him playing but he is one of my favorites to see highlights of.

Am I correct in thinking that he had one season in which he played like 6 or 8 games and still had 1000 yards.

This was a great game to watch! Lynch's run was amazing! And it looked like to me that the Saints took the Seahawks for granted. That's just my opinion. And in doing so, the Seahawks came out and smacked them in the face and the Saints couldn't get nothing going.
