this is part of a boy/girl double header with the boys/girls playing against Owsley!

this opens up District play For Estill! while Owsley is 0-1 in Districts!


Owsley County (3-2) Wolfe County 59-43, Buckhorn 50-32, Hazard 64-56. Loses: Jackson County 62-51, Powell County 68-46. Owsley plays Perry Central (1/4) and OBI (1/5) but this is Estill's next Game!


Estill County (6-6) Wins: Model 62-49, Berea 52-45, Berea 49-47, Lee County 63-43, Reidland 44-35, Jackson County 62-60. Loses: Knott County Central 66-52, Barren County 59-32, Barbourville 56-52, Madison Southern 62-49, Todd County Central 58-51, Caverna 41-48.

Perry Central is for real. They will defeat most teams in the region by substantial margins, and teams from the 56th district by amounts similar to the Owsley game.

Owsley won at Estill by 1 point last night.
Just a thought here. If you were basing a Lady Owls loss in the double digits because they lost to Perry Central by 63-20, well---that's not a good measuring stick. PCC will beat any team in the 56th handily.
