Congrats KC! Good win! Nice Shot Davis!
BL, keep your heads up. You should've won this game, and that's all that matters in December! This game means nothing though (just a 1 next to your 4). Move on men and get em at Lexington Cath.

BL was up by 3 with 3 secs to go and Davis hits a half court shot..and Kc got Bl in overtime...Very exciting game

I can't get over this game. I dont know if KCC played a bad game, but BL should have beat this team by 10. Free throws were horrible, PG is in foul trouble everygame, oh yeah and Jr. got outcoached!!!!! BL up by three with 5 seconds left, FOUL!!!!!! at half court take a couple seconds off the clock. Dont let a man make a great shot and take momentum into OT.

Hopefully the bobcats can regroup!!! Good Luck Cats!!!!
#5
congrats to KCC

Critic,

Relax, I think a long lay-off really hurt the bobcats shooting, but I have seen KCC shoot a lot better. Work hard bobcats, lets get the lexington tourney, good competition will only make you better.

Congrats Patriots!

Congrats KCC. You beat a very good BL team. Its December & its one game BL. Probably not your last loss. Just win them when they count come tournament time. Good game practice them free throws.
#14
Congrats KCC
#15
Must have been a heartbreaker for the bobcats
#16
Congrats KCC
#17
Congrats. Finding a way to win the close games. Coach King outcoaches Coach Newsome who would have said that at the begining of the year. Both teams will take something from this game.
#18
Congrats KCC, sounds like it was a great game!

Betsy Layne will not win the 15th Region.

lol?????? I'd like to hear your backing of this statement?

And I would like to understand why so many people in Floyd County think that Betsy Layne is going to win the region? Johnson Central is by far the favorite. And do not be surprised to see Sheldon Clark make a run for it.

They have the talent but will lose their cool in a close game come tourney time.

Well everyone in the 15th might as well just give up on the region and go ahead and give the trophy to Johnson Central then.

I don't know about JC being A LOT better than everyone else in the region, but yeah, JC is arguably the favorite and BL and some others have a shot also. Let's let the kids decide.

Back on-topic, congrats Pats... great effort Bobcats!

How he out coach him? They should have won double figures. They had 10 points at half time and had to have a bank in 3 to put it in overtime to get the win and still only scored 53 points. KCC should be scoring in the 70's every game with their talent. They got lucky to beat a decent team.

it definitely wasnt a half court shot. it was barley be hind the arch.

With that said...Jr did not get out coached. Why foul with 5 seconds left and give them the opportunity for 2 shots and maybe even the rebound, or foul on a 3 point shot. They did the right thing in this situation, but they slacked on the defense cause they didn't want to foul. That shot would be missed 9 times out of 10.

When tournament time comes BL wont fall apart! Jr will have the boys ready come march, trust me, the man knows how to bring a team together. For Johnson Central, i wouldn't consider them a favorite in anyway. They have had the same team for 4 years now and can barely make it out of their district. They will be the team to fall apart come march, or late January, just like every other year. To much selfishness on one team, everyone's looking for fame.
