Top 2011 Lineman - All Classes
#1
Guys and Gals - never too early to start talking about next year. Who do you see as the top lineman statewide that are returning for the 2011 season? I have my favorites but I would like to hear everyone else's first.

I know I'll be criticized for being biased and because the team he plays for hasn't been too successful. But Nathaniel Lightner from Lewis County has tremendous talent and a good shot to be a good center at the next level. He's 6'2", 320 lbs, benches 400, squats 550 (and he has had two knee surgeries), dead lifts 450, and cleans about 280 I believe. He's had a couple small schools show interest in him.

Harlan Co. Micheal Smith

Simon Kenton's 71 Colin Patrick 6'2 250 started 2 years in a row will be a Senior. 55 Ben Racke 6'2 240 will be his second year starting. And should see big things from 64 Ben Hall 6'5 300 pounds.

I forgot to mention Lightner will be a four year starter.

Dan Prater- Rowan County. Kid is a monster 6'3 340lbs and can move. Heard is a D1 prospect along with Rowan QB Adam Wing.

Knox has two coming for their senior years that have started since they were Freshmen at DLine. Codi Diamond and Tyler Grubb. Both put up big numbers in the weight room but what really makes them stand out is how they play. Diamond has a couple of schools looking at him and I'm sure Grubb will get looks as well.

Rob Lewis, Southwestern.
