Yeah..okay..heres where the feel good story of Michael Vick takes a U-turn.
Example;
Lets say a man adopts a child, molests the child, beats and rapes the child without mercy and then kills the child. The man gets 2 years in prison. The man gets out, does a few good deeds, and now wants to adopt another child. I know there are a few in this country that will go to bat for that man, like they will Michael Vick. I aint one of them. Nobody in their right mind allow Vick to buy a dog.

Amen brother. THIS IS EXACTLY the first thing that came to my mind. Great post TH32, you are dead on accurate on this one. Owning a pet is a privelage, not a RIGHT. This dude gave up his privelage when slaughtered dogs!

Is he doing this for himself(Like he should!). Or is he doing this to clear his image up with the media and his use to be fans or fans! I really wanna like Vick, cause he's extremely gifted! But I aint gonna say.. Awh, he's getting a dog for his closure.

He was betting on dog fights, not actually getting dogs and killing them or poisoning them or anything like that..

Dude, you better go educate yourself! He most certainly was responsible for all of the dog carcasses on HIS property. He was not just betting on dogs partner, he was inviolved in the killing of those dogs

Dude, he would pick the dogs up and slam them on the ground until they were dead. He would electrocute them, drown them, stomp them until they were dead, and sometimes just beat them with whatever he had until they were dead. Vick done all of this HIMSELF. So no, he wasnt just betting on them. He was responsible for a huge dog fighting ring, and when the dogs either got to worn to fight or when they'd lose a fight, he himself would kill them. This is why I dont pull for Vick. I still despise Vick worse than any pro athlete (even more than Terrell Owens) alive, and I STILL hope that one of these days SOON when he takes off running, somebody (preferrably James Harrison) breaks BOTH of those precious legs of his.

Were you there Baller? I do believe Vick admitted to drowning some dogs. That's my dog in the race. Vick is a Punk. I wish he was still in prison. I also wish some guy named Bubba would have played house with him in prison if you know what I mean.

If he admitted to doing that much then I guess he shouldn't have a dog.

That's not comparable, nor was Vick's punishment. But TH32's analogy still fits in explaining his argument. Vick paid his dues, but that does not mean he deserves his privilages back.

That was just to get hoss going. I dont believe vick should be aloud to have a dog. He is a convicted felon for murdering and supporting dog ring fighting. There for losing his right to have a dog or any pet in my opinion.

I'll probably get blasted for this and I in no way support dog fighting or what vick said he did to these dogs, but what is the difference in dog fights and chicken fights? I mean, an animal is an animal.

Giving Vick a dog would be like giving Ted Bundy a girlfriend. Actually, I don't care if he has a dog or not, there's no way in **** he'd be dumb enough to kill it/fight it/mame it or do anything detrimental to his health this time around lol.
