This is our 1st year with high school wrestling, just a quick question. Where is the regional tournaments held for east ky teams? Thanks

Eastern Ky schools are apart of Region 8. The Region 8 team duals will be held at Mccreary central. The actual region that qualifies wrestler to wrestle at state is held at Letcher County Central High School.

Thanx. First year of wrestling. This is the high school programs 2nd year.

It rotates every year, cougar do you know if they are going to let them do it in the main gym? The old Whitesburg High (which is where they wrestle and practice) is no way big enough to hold the Regional tournament.

There going to hold it at LCC. It will be just like when we hosted Region Duals last year.

They need to move central office up there. The possibilities are endless what they can do to that building and the extra space. Regional at LCC will be great up there at the high school.
