This should be a good early indication of how the 50th District is going to go this year.
After South's loss to Pendleton County who Corbin beat, Whitley will try to best South for the first time since South for the first time since South joined the district five years ago.
Last years game were close and I think Whitley can finally pull one out, but it will be tough at South.

This will be a good one! South has some great talent but I think it will be lacking in its senior leadership. South is also has a young team that plays very hard. Steve Wright will be the worst enemy for Whitley. Wright pulled out a big win against Buckhorn which shows what he can do. Whitley has two guards that compliment each other very well. They also have two big men that run the court well and have great rebounding skills and an inside game to go with it. Whitley wins this one unless Wright can stop them with his swarming defense.
